Anyway I can mix the words as opposed to having them in an alphabetical way?

What's Vocab++ all about?

The app has a bunch of flashcards aimed at those taking standardized tests, like SATs, GRE, TOEFL, CAT, etc. Unlike other similar apps, every word has a hand-curated image associated with it to help users learn word-meaning using visual association (like the way you probably learnt English as a kid).

I want to emphasize on the hand-curation element: it takes time, but it means that the flashcards can actually help. We could have used an automated source, maybe search on Google or Bing Images, but the results would have been flaky and inconsistent.

That also means that we don't have a very large set of words with images, but we're looking to fix that. We'll be adding more words soon, most likely without images at first. However, we'll then look at ways that we can crowdsource the images as well as focus on getting the images ourselves for the more important words (based on the ones the users star).

A release candidate for the app has been pushed to the Play Store. If you already have the app installed, you should be able to update it the regular way. If not, follow this link to first register as a tester.

If you're looking to try the alpha version, I believe you are required to join this community before following the link in the earlier post. That allows the Google Play system to know that I have given you permission to try out an alpha version of the app.

Thanks!
