Factors such as rising animal health expenditure and the growing demand for pet insurance, increasing number of veterinary practitioners and their rising income levels in developed regions, increasing animal research along with growing research grants, and growth in the companion animals market are driving the growth of the global veterinary equipment and disposables market.

The large share of this segment can be attributed to rising awareness on animal diseases, growing companion animals market, and increasing animal healthcare expenditure. In addition, the increasing adoption of critical care consumables in the treatment of various diseases, wound management, and fluid management are expected to drive the growth of this market.

What better way to get your clinical and practical credits than travelling around the world and helping dogs in more than 5 countries?

I am a college student at Valdosta State University and part of my English class is to blog about my career path and "community." I can't give the link to where this could be +1'd but I thought it be interesting to receive feedback from this community if possible. Thanks in advance.

Instead of listing numerous universities that the majority of you could care less about I wanted to talk more about what I want to do with my life and how I want to help end #AnimalAbuse   .

My freshman year of high school, one of my teachers always told us your job isn’t a “job” when you’re doing something you love. In my opinion aren’t we wasting our precious time by doing something with our lives that we can’t see ourselves loving in the future? Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of unpleasant tasks we have to complete to get to where we want to be in life, whether it be socially, financially, or anything else. For example, I would have never thought to take biology and chemistry simultaneously, but according to VSU it’s the only way I can stay on track unless I take summer classes.

Becoming a veterinarian and working with #AnimalCops    allows me to not only do something with my life that I would absolutely love to do, but I can make a difference in the lives of others. For me I wouldn’t feel like I have a job, more like a full time hobby.

The “Animal Cops” series is nothing like the “In the arms of an angel” type infomercials that many of us get agitated with because we see them almost all the time. Animals really look like that in these episodes sometimes, and sometimes even worse. If you want to get the bio from Animal Planet the link is listed below:

http://www.animalplanet.com/tv-shows/animal-cops/about-this-show/about-animal-cops.htm

Also, if you want to see the face of animal abuse, I suggest you watch the show (which is really good) but more importantly Google the images. Each and every person has the ability to make a difference, even if it is just volunteering. Money isn't the only way to give back, sometimes the pleasure of another’s company is all it takes to make a situation seem better. Animals need hope too.
