Lastnight, I was stood in a dream in a house looking through a opened door way & there's once agian, another 'me' looking back at is. I stood pondering my thoughts till I realized this is a dream. I thought about doing a reality check but I got lazy & never did. So I say out loud to the other me "this is a dream". She looks at me with a shock-horror face & seems gob smacked . Then it's as if she made me wake up or placed me in another dream, coz I remeber thinking shit shouldn't of said that ..

Hi all, since my schedule changes I have had only semi lucid's. Or, as well, just normal little bits of dreams that I wake up with. This morning it was just a small piece of a non-lucid. I was picking up toys. The legos by the little toy plastic drawer's  were melting on the floor. And I was wondering how exactly I would clean them up. Then I heard 'How embarrassing.' And, woke up. I feel like if I don't write whatever the dream or the feeling in my journal that I'm breaking a universal lucid dreaming law. That may decrease my lucid's.

I have had some frustrating technical issues with this app. I recently upgraded to the premium version so that I could record my dreams. Whenever I hit the play button the purple bar comes up to indicate that it is recording but there is no way to play back the recording or listen to the entry. Furthermore, the app will not let me delete dream journal entries. Any ideas?

How do I write mail? I am new to this Google plus thing. My email address is boatsandhoes123@gmail.com

Is there an app out there where you can either record your dreams by voice or turn your voice recordings to text? Typing out long dream stories takes a long time

Look up Douglas county Oregon and you'll find that I am bordered by two wild fires that have consumed hundreds of acer s. People are beginning to receive level three evacuations. I've been having fire come to me in my dreams for a couple years now. I'm sad about it but I'm remembering that fire is cleansing. But I am worried.

Hey guys. I know that I woke up in the small hours of the morning and recorded a dream. But I must not have tapped the save button. I just noticed the microphone icon. Does it record voice? I couldn't get it to work. Any tips? It was a dang good dream.

Have you ever gotten stuck? like wrapped up in two meeting trees while flying, or once trying to get to this little green house I got all twisted in vine covered bushes, and couldn't get there. If I for whatever reason can't fly though I just leap or climb up trees. Had some little guys try to stop me from flying on once. They broke off from the tree they looked like little pokey round things, and I felt the pinch of one of them holding me when after telling them how cute I thought they were I was planning to fly away.

I've been having the best lucid dreaming summer! Sharing the latest one with you all, cause it was one of the strangest. I wasn't really aware of being lucid.
I was just looking through this glass in-closer I was standing in. I was gazing out into a court yard of a brick apartment complex. When I walked into the yard through the glass, and felt myself pass through it then I knew I was lucid.
Looking up I saw these balconies. They seemed to be surrounded by scaffolding under construction. So, when I tried to fly up to the second floor. I found that I couldn't. Ended up sort of leaping from another.. building like a storage space. I didn't notice before.
So, hanging on to a poll I was watching a dinner party. White table cloth's, and napkins. All posh posh really. There seemed to be about six, or so in attendance. I watched a pretty dark haired lady dab her mouth. I said 'Hey.' . And not one of the people looked at me. This has never happened to me in a lucid. I started saying 'Hey.' louder.
Then I noticed this man looking at me intently. He was the only person there that saw me. I was returning his gaze when I woke. Now I believe it was Dan G. Well, could be.
That waking up thing before a lucid feels finished is madding. Cause it always leaves me with... "Why did't I ask his name? Why didn't I ask his representation in my life? Why didn't I think to ask anything?    '

+Dan G. Yeah, I can't say that was you, ya know. I've just never been totally ignored in interacting with dream characters. And that one man was the one who seemed to see me. He did look like your photo.

I've been trying to lucid dream for about 2 weeks now and I've wrote down to my dream journal almost every morning and I've done about 10 reality checks every day, "meditated" about 7 minutes before I go to sleep... Should I like "accidentally" do the reality check in a dream and like that make myself realize I'm dreaming? ((I'm finnish so I might have misspelt something))

Pardon if this question has already been answered somewhere. I want to export my dream journal. I go to the journal screen, touch the cloud icon, and this takes me to several options under "Dream Cloud," one of which is "Export and send".

I press this and get a pop-up message stating "Share the journal as a text by using an app"

Does the text file have a name? For some reason I cannot find it on my phone's internal storage.

Thanks.

I'm not dead! But, instead I have good news!

I finally got into a Lucid Dream last night and I'd like to share it with you all.

It was a normal dream until I was walking about, and I stopped and realized it. I was on the edge of an almond orchard, and a road was next to me. The dirt was about a foot above the road so there was a slope down, and I dug a hole beneath that slope. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a look at my hands once Lucid, so it wasn't too vivid, but I remember going down the hole and finding myself in a semi-large room, with dirt walls and floors. Nothing was in the room. I covered the hole, and (because it was a dream) I still saw fairly okay.

Before I go into the next part, I would like to inform you that I'm a large fan of the anime One Piece and that I am Bisexual.

So, I have a huge crush on Luffy from One Piece, and so I decided to summon him out for some cuddly stuff. As soon as he was there, we inched toward each other and..

I don't remember.

If I can access another Lucid Dream tonight, I will share it with you.

Hi, I really don't want to create a meme. Richard Dawkins selfish gene. I had to look up meme. I had one of those difficult lucid's today. Those start out with the the body buzzing. I heard they were OBE's. Don't know. They are the one's where I do checks though. When the buzzing starts. I tell myself to look at my hands. They did look all weird, so I (this is why I call them difficult) I struggle to get from the covers. I feel everything like a lucid. My hands on the bed, fighting the blankets. I don't get that, but it seems to be a constant when a waking dream starts with the buzzing.
So I leap out the wall while standing on the bed. I find myself in a cave. Now normally I'm on the ground in the front yard. So, this was different. Maybe it is because I was looking at images earlier. One was of a cave.
I could see outside of it. The light, and wanted to go out. But, my feet were planted. There was a tree in there with me. It was so dark. I started saying "clarity now." Using my voice was the only easy thing about this lucid dream. It is about the fourth time I have used my voice in a waking dream. Every other time it was hard to get out. It didn't work anyway everything in the cave remained dark. About the time I just decided to feel the moss hanging from the tree. I was feeling it, finding it thick and cool. Then I woke. Damn.

This has been about two years ago that I was reading about and seeing videos on youtube.. Just working on initiating lucid's. There was a lot of talk about sexual encounters. I had set no intention, but woke up walking into a bar. It was a dark bar with dark wood. I remember walking past the door guy thinking he was good looking. Then I walked up to three men who were in conversation holding their drinks. I was just standing there looking at them. Then thought 'Why not?' So I took the tallest of the men, he was nice to look at, blond. I started tugging at his hand to find a place to be with him. The guy started to protest. He was telling me he was married, and saying other things about it being wrong. I thought 'This can't be so, I'm supposed to be able to do as I wish in a lucid.' The rest of it didn't go very well. I'm thinking the same as I though then. I would most likely not do this in waking life. So, maybe that is why he buffed at the idea. That is if all in your dreams are a part of you.Or, the dream characters are of themselves, and he didn't find me attractive, and all his putting me off was him being nice.

So do you think that dream characters are just reflections of your waking thoughts? Had this one where I was flying over a lot of folding chairs. They were all empty except for one, so I flew down to investigate. There I found this man. Very Greek looking he was painting. I ask first his name, then quickly change that to what do you represent in my life? He tells me that he represents all my unfinished canvases. All the paintings I haven't finished. Well, I had just made the decision that maybe painting isn't the way for me to go. Then this lucid..... Oh, it was really cool that he had an accent too.

Hello all, as you can tell by my username I am a largely interesting in Lucid Dreaming. However, I have only been able to go Lucid about three times in the last month. I use the MILD way of Lucidity, mostly because I'm terrified of Sleep Paralysis. I must ask for some tips on improving this? I've tried spotify playlists for Lucid Dreaming with little success.

So, now I don't know what to tell ya, cause I've seen ghost by my bed. When I was little, and when I had little kids. Would wake the house screaming I would.
But, the last one years ago that I saw by the bed sitting in a chair that wasn't there. I just looked at him for a moment, sighed, and rolled over back to sleep. I haven't seen anymore ghosties.
And, when I started actively pursuing  lucid's two years ago. I had some strange encounters. I googled the phantom cat. Have you heard of that one. I googled it. I wasn't alone its visits. Last time wasn't too long ago I felt him walk up the bed, and lick my face.
Someone sitting on the bed, being tapped three times while my bedroom door was locked, so I know it was no one in the house hold, breathing in my ear, feeling like someone has lain down by me, the smoke alarm going off in a set of three beeps just once, not like the chirping that it does to let you know the battery is going dead....
So, I blessed the bed, and the room. Now the weird part. I kind of wished it was still going on. Cause none of it this last time really scared me horribly, but I have that Catholic thing still embedded in me. So, maybe I was a little scared that it could be something bad.
Then my son told me he had some weird things going on while he was in bed, waking him up. The one that scared him was the breathing in his ear. So I blessed his bed. No more of that for him either.
I was thinking the other day though the thing against the trilogy...like waking up at 3:00 am. and things in threes supposed to be against the trilogy. Well, that does't make sense. Cause, it is the father, son and holy spirit that it represents. Why would an evil thing do a thing that seems to support it?
Sorry, cause I sure can ramble.

So I was wondering if there is anyone out there willing to help me lucid dream. (P.S I do try brainwave entertainment and it does help a little i'm going to try meditation soon)

Sometimes I will get scary images before drifting off. I just started telling myself that they were OK, and let them pass. Distorted faces is mostly what invades my vision. I just let them go. When I started doing this it would end with a pleasant relaxed face image.

Studies of lucid dreamers show which centers of the brain become active when we become aware of ourselves in dreams.

Which areas of the brain help us to perceive our world in a self-reflective manner is difficult to measure. During wakefulness, we are always conscious of ourselves. In sleep, however, we are not. But there are people, known as lucid dreamers, who can become aware of dreaming during sleep. Studies employing magnetic resonance tomography (MRT) have now been able to demonstrate that a specific cortical network consisting of the right dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, the frontopolar regions and the precuneus is activated when this lucid consciousness is attained. All of these regions are associated with self-reflective functions. This research into lucid dreaming gives the authors of the latest study insight into the neural basis of human consciousness.

Studies of lucid dreamers show which centers of the brain become active when we become aware of ourselves in dreams. The human capacity of self-perception, self-reflection and consciousness development are among the unsolved mysteries of neuroscience. Now scientists are shedding new light on this area.

Scientists should be using lucid dreaming to study dream characters to see what they are capable of.
