Hi guys! Can anyone help with the below? I do regular reality checks, and get lucid very often.

Here is my experience from earlier today..
This one was amazing. Was very tired anyway, and was able to create a dream whilst trying to go to sleep, and entered the dream, thinking it was real life. It was actually a girl who I haven't met yet, but have been introduced to online, and had juat been speaking to her on messenger service.

I don't realise I'm dreaming, but I check my watch, and realise that yippee, actually I am dreaming, and manage to leave my sleeping body, walk to one of the walls in the house, and then try and put my band through it. Of course I could, and then continued my lucid travels . I love jumping through walls or Windows or off massive cliffs, as I know there's no risk.

I was able to spin around a lot, and maintain lucidity for quite some time, but did lose it a few times, but was able to easily slip back into the same setting each time.

My focus here was to see an ex girlfriend, and have find her. I was having trouble with character creation. I tried a few techniques, like saying to myself, OK she is next door, I will go there and see her.... But was unable to generate her... Until later when I briefly did, I was basically just really concentrating on believing that I was able to. I jumped through the kitchen window, and ran down the garden, whwre I believed I could find her waiting for me. As I was running down the garden, I realised it was dark, (I am not fully in control of the dreamscape clearly, but maybe it helped me form a brief image of her....and I did see her, briefly, laying down with a hat on, where I thought she would be. But then her face turned to someone elses... And I sort of moved my attentions elsewhere.

At this point, I started to be more aware that I was probably more awake thst asleep, and was experiencing sleep paralysis, and false awakenings, constantly checking my watch and it showing completely random times (my most common reality check)

.... I have had this many many time, the lucidity, but never with the sleep paralysis state aswell, and then have been able to turn this into an OBE.(I used the imagining pulling my self up with an imaginary rope, I've read this is a common method) ... I have to say, it felt like the most powerful feeling. I was able to imagine lifting myself out of my body, and decided to melt through the ceiling into the room above. I did this a few times and have found it to be extremely pleasurable feeling, which is very hard to describe..

What happened here, and how can I improve character generation, and turn sleep paralysis more, into that amazing lofting, lifting, levitating type feeling. Is it really just about embracing the paralysis and letting yourself go? As that can be Scary, but I know it's not dangerous ... Does anyone have any ideas on the above map??

Thank you all!!

Bertie

As for character creation. It was an elusive endeavor because you may be having/holding a subconscious or conscious belief about her, maybe about your ability to see her. Examine your feelings about her and if you feel any blockages to her energy at all.
For example i had a magician dream guide for a while, but after a very subtle shift to doubting that magic can be real after too many youtube videos, like there's that chance the magician could be just an illusionist, i dreamt of looking for him, then finding a look-a-like of him who turned out to be a con man.

As for sleep paralysis, I've found success with the rolling out method, although it can occasionally be disorienting if you haven't stabilized thoroughly.

My intuitive guess on getting the SP to feeling great, there's always a time and place to just surrender and let go, but you can also get there the opposite way by attempting to stabilize or still my mind and go within for that good feeling. However you seem to find great joy in interacting with your surroundings too. Just do that then! i totally recommend reaching for the stars.

My recall of non-lucid dreams, and lucids are at a major low. I still do the asking, no it's more like I say "I must be dreaming." Since my grandson came to live with me that is almost all there is. I'm not complaining about his sweet little heart. He is great. Mostly he sleeps through the night. It is me. My worry about him. He starts to just talk, and I'm awake. Or, I just wake with a start to go look at him. He's so much fun, and a really good little thing. So I know it's me. Just not sure what to do about it. He is my first thought no matter when I wake. Middle of the night by my own startle thing, or if I hear him. I never think "What was I thinking about before I woke?" Even when I sleep when he is..... But, I would not change this time with him for all the lucid dreams in the world. Just a little bummed about it.

I've only had one lucid dream so far, but it was so exciting.

I don't remember what happened before I became lucid, other than that I was standing in my gravel driveway in the middle of the day. But once I realize it was a dream, I blinked and the driveway became one giant concrete slate.

Being a Pokemon fan, and this being the intent of my dream, I spawned in Pokemon. Weirdly, it was only the original starters (Charmamder, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur.) But how I did it was weird.

There were very little clouds in the sky, but it started to lightly rain. As the rain hit the ground, a Pokemon would spawn.

I remember thinking to myself to keep calm and to remember all the tricks to keep yourself lucid in case you started losing control (e.g. spinning then falling to the ground)

This wasn't very recent, but it was so much fun while it lasted.

How do you export dreams to a text file? Where is this text file located? Someone already asked this a year ago and got no response. There is an option to "Export and Send" but when you click it, it just cryptically says "Share the journal via text using an app" and then appears to do nothing.

Can someone shed light on this process please? Thank you.

When you tap the "Export and Send" button, a list of apps installed on your phone should appear. For me, I have Google Drive installed, so when I select that, Awoken sends the text file to my Google Drive folder. If you're not seeing the app list, there may be an issue with your phone's OS.

Hey everyone!

Is anyone else experiencing problems with their dreams syncing? I keep getting an error and response null message. It's bugging me because I've recently had a very eye-opening dream that I want to make sure gets saved properly.

-How not to engage your subconscious

Careful: may be of negative impact and/or cause distressing dreams.

Hi guys,

As we all know there's something special about being able to engage with your subconscious during a lucid dream.
The question I'd like to answer here is: to what length should one go to have a talk with her subconscious?
Although I don't believe there to be a definitive answer, I sure can tell you that sometimes you're better off exercising some caution.
The following is an entry from a lucid dream I will remember for some time to come.
_

I had been lucid dreaming for a while, nothing out of the ordinary: spawned some stuff and went around enjoying myself. Almost lost control once and got close to the void, spinned around and made some simple math to regain lucidity and for some reason (the reason being that I managed to fall asleep with my top body real high up on the pillows) my lucidity felt very strong and stable.
With such easy to maintain lucidity (for my poor standards) I decide to go have a real deep chat with my sub.

I spawn a stadium filled with people of all kinds: some baseball players are training, some students chatting, others selling food and more just doing other stuff; there's hundreds of them (not a very good idea in hindsight).
I take off and fly on top of the stadium enjoying the view for a while than I land a bit further from the middle as not to disturb the training fellows (and my oh my did I get wrong what to do next).
The chatter and general noise of the crowd fills the air so, raising my voice, I speak up and ask the attention of everyone in the stadium. People notice me, some pay polite attention, some carry on with their things.

"I'm looking for 'my_name_and_surname'"
"could 'm_n_a_s' come here please"

I repeat a few similar phrases as these while paying attention to people's faces to pick myself from the crowd (what happened next wasn't as quick as the change in mood). As I pause calling out for myself, suddenly the entire stadium falls completely silent, no chatter, no noises, complete silence. Every, single, person, is staring at me. The sky quickly goes from blue to grey. Heavy, low clouds start hovering above. A strong wind quickly kicks in. It's dark now and all the people start slowly walking toward me. I realize I'm in trouble, I have lost control.
Not the usual though: I am lucid, still the dream goes against my will; I feel control slipping away yet I'm not offsetting to the void. I feel trapped.
As the crowd gets closer people's faces become unrecognizable in the dark of the storm, now the dark of a moonless night. Lightning, wind and a very heavy rain now replace the noise once originating from the stadium, only louder. People are getting close all around me, they all open their mouths wide but instead of sound, light comes out of them. The light is blinding and irregular in motion, as if from powerful, poorly held flashlights, but it doesn't hurt my eyes, it hurts my ears. The blinding noise of the light from peoples mouths mixes with the noise of the storm and it becomes an extremely loud cacophony of white noise, I feel it penetrating my ears and into my head which starts hurting like hell. I uselessly cover my ears tight with my hands, the pain makes me bend over my stomach. With effort I look up still holding my head, people are all around and above me, staring at me and getting closer, so close to measure distance in inches. They stare at me, shining mouths wide open and we're now almost all face to face. I wake up.

I guess that if one lession is to be learned here it would be:
You can get as cocky as you want with your dream, just don't involve your subconscious in your cockyness, it might not like it.

Happy dreaming everyone!

Hey guys, I'm new in the community and I would like to ask some advices if it's okay.
I installed the app Awoken and I don't know what to choose for my totem sound. What type of sound you guys use? I suppose I need something discreet but loud enough to be heard when I'm asleep? Thanks. :3

Hi, i'm italian from italy... this ability to oneironaut seems to be an innate ability in me. already present in my being, perhaps from previous lives, in fact, I feel strong ties to ancient peoples as the Phoenicians, the Egyptians, the Celts. It started suddenly at the age of 11 years ... and we agree with theories that I read on the internet, dreams can be gateways to parallel universes and other dimensions, so it has always seemed to me thinking back to my experiences dreamlike.

I've been having some experiences & I don't know the name for it. What happens is..
When in bed, eyes closed & looking into the blackness.. I can sometimes see things forming in front of me but I'm not asleep!

The one that shocked me was this... I see 2 people in front of me with their heads to the back of me, it's not really detailed at this point, then it appears we are sat in a car.. This bit shocked me eyes open.

The car is moving.. I'm on the back seat looking in between these to lads who are chatting & we're driving along a country road. EVERYTHING is in perfect detail & once I noticed what I was seeing I open my eyes (still awake) & was just like wtf was that?
