Dear diary today I am at home sat in front of my TV watching with bated breath as the #FIfaWorldCup kicks off.
Football teams from around the world have gathered for this epic season of football matches which occurs once every four years. The host country is #Russia this time, its not been held in a #European county since #Germany hosted it in 2006, so it's easier for #England #football (you may refer to it as #soccer too but it's football I tell you FOOTBALL,!) fans to go and cheer on their team.
The #worldcup began back in 1930 and has taken place ever since, except for in 1942 and 1946 when world war two was taking place, which makes this year the 21st time its taken place.
The matches are kicked off by an opening ceremony held by the host country, and one of my favourite singers was there #robbiewilliams he's sooo good!
Between now and the 15th of July the 32 countries who have got this far will battle it out, there's going to be 64 matches in 12 football stadiums in 11 cities within Russia, ending in the final being held in #luzhniki stadium.
Last time Germany beat Argentina let's hope England will be the one who is victorious this time! Paws crossed and flag waving #comeonEngland
My friend in #america is watching too, i just hope @nikki_az43 isn't disappointed as the #usa didn't make qualifying x I'm hoping she's cheering for my side instead lol

Dear diary, today back in 1981 #stephenspielberg released #raidersofthelostark!

#harrisonford came to the big screen with a #whip, passion for #archeology and a huge dislike of #snakes, its hard to tell whether he despises snakes or Natzies more. If you've not seen it or haven't seen it in a while why are you still reading this?
Go #Indie!

Dear Diary, today has been a huge one in London, for not only did #meghanmarkle and #PrinceHarry get married at #Windsor but later on #manchesterunited and #chealsea battled it out at #Wembley to see who took home the #facup in the #facupfinal., (for anyone not in the know the FA cup is a #football competition or if your American you are strange and call it #soccer, very odd!).
So first off it was a early and by early I mean very early jaunt out to #WindsorCastle to get a prime spot to see the #wedding. I obviously got there too late as I got stuck right at the back of the crowd. But the atmosphere was fabulous, people were dressed up in their best #togs with epic #hata and flying both the #unionjack and #saintgeorgescross #flags. Some had banners, everyone was recording on their #phone or #tablets, some even had #cameras !
Sadly I didn't see anything, not even a glimpse if I stood on #tiptoe. I am though very happy for them and can't wait to catch up by watching it on a #tv #rerun!
Next I had to shoot back into #london as Winsor is right on the very very outskirts of #souyhwest London, but thankfully Wembley is northwest London but for central than winsor so I didn't need to fret about getting right across the capital. Now to be honest with you I'm not the biggest football fan and neither of these #teams are my team but I wasn't going to pass up the chance of seeing the 147th final!
It was an OK game, chealsea #won on a #penalty kick by #edenhazzard which I didn't get to see as the rows in front of me stood up in the tension of the moment and blocked my view once more. So now I'm off home to find out what I missed at the wedding and game on TV! Sigh

RIP #margotkidder
The #loislane of my youth, though an amazing actress sadly her later life was troubled by #mentalhealth problems which led to her also being at one point #homeles living on the streets. I hope she is now at peace and her life story raises greater #mentalhealthawareness and also the plight of thechomeless

Dear diary,
All over social media everyones getting excited about mermaids as they say its #mermay (#mermay2018 ) so I thought it about time that I gave it a try.
I hired from the #fancydress shop a #mermaidtail and a #trident and he added down to #londonaquarium which is on the southbank of the Thames. I did think about swimming in the Thames but the river police get a bit cross if you do.
On reaching the aquarium I slipped into my kit and dove in yo one of the tanks , making sure that there was no #sharks in it first.
#Swimming with a tail is not too easy as all I wanted to do was kick my legs but no can do with a tail you need to use a more fluid motion. Once I had gotten use to the tail I discovered that I couldn't hold my breath all that long #mermaids and other merfolk must have huge lungs! So I spent half the time flapping and the other H as lf gulping at the surface for air.
Then just as I finally got the hang of it I was chucked out by a beefy security guard who wasn't amused at my antics!
I was so miffed as I knew loads were doing mermay daily how did they get to swim with the #fishing and not get escorted off the property. On getting home I looked into it a tad more.
And I think I should have done my research a bit better as apparently mermay is not about being a mermaid or in my case a merham, no, it's about drawing them everyday...

Dear diary,
As today is a Bank Holiday I am heDding further down the east coast into Devon. I am heading to the fishing village of #Brixham to take part in their annual #Brixhampiratefestival. It has been taking place all weekend and today is the last day but its still going to be a great day!
It's one of Britain's largest pirate festivals there's singing and much swashbuckling fun.
With a jug of #grog and a got or two of #rum I'm going to enjoy the fun. And maybe sing a #seashanty or two.
There's nothing like spending the day sailing the seven seas in search of the dreaded #pirates Black Ham's #treasure which holds the secret of the golden peanut!

Dear diary
Today is #nakedgardeningday, so I decided to make the most of the surprisingly OK UK weather, and let the breeze give me a tickle where it doesn't normally get.
I do enjoy gardening especially salad veg as I get a nice nibble at the end of my hard work. It's just a huge shame though that my climate doesn't suit peanuts!
In London there's not much space for gardens I'm lucky as I have a very tiny one, however, you can get an allotment which is a piece of land especially for you to grow things on,. The only problem is they are very in demand and it can take years and years on the waiting list!
Anyways all was going well no neighbours saw me hanging loose in just my fur and I was having a really productive day. I thought I deserved a drink and a rest so settled down in some daisies to drink in the joys of May. Apparently wasps don't like to be sat on! My bottom is bigger than ever and sore! It was not a good experience and put me off the rest of the day so I went in doors lead on my tummy and watched TV instead!

Dear diary
Today I wanted to cheer up granny so I took her out for a trip to remind her of her childhood. So we went to the Lyme Regis fossil festival. Granny did not appreciate being referred to as an old fossil and hit me with her handbag! However we still had a great day out!
Lyme Regis is a small fishing village at the head of Lyme Bay it is in the south west of Dorset where the county boarder meets Devon.
Lyme Regis is famous for two main things. Firstly it is the setting for the book and film of the French lieutenants woman and secondly it is the home of some of the greatest fossil discoveries, which were made may a lady called Mary Anning.
Mary (1779-1847) made a living by collecting fossils from the local cliffs. Dorsets coastline is better known as the jurassic cost as it is jam packed with fossils of ancient animals and plants.
Over the years Mary discovered and studied many fossils making world wide famous discoveries such as finding the first plesiosaur skeleton and also finding the first pterosaur skeleton outside of Germany. She also helped scientists to discover that coprolites also known as bezoar stones we not actually stones but we're in fact fossilised poo!
It should be noted that Mary risked her life daily scowering the cliffs as they are prone to collapses and landslides, and she was nearly killed in 1833 when caught in a landslide, sadly her dog tay, who I'd featured in the famous portrait of her, was killed.
Regardless of how much she contributed to science and understanding Mary was shunned by the scientific community of the time, and was famously rejected from becoming a member of the geological society of London, just because she was a woman. However, today her contributions are recognised and celebrated.
The fossil festival is about getting people up close to the fossils and learning about them and involves many events and even the ability to chat to scientists. But if you don't get to go to the two day event don't panic as there is a really brilliant museum and fossil shop there which is open most of the year. As well as having other things you can do.
Granny and I had a really good time finishing up sat on the beach eating fish and
Chips then finishing off with an Icecream for pud!
