Here's some fun science about 3D printing and Filament that are suffering for moisture. This video should hopefully prove some myths and help you understand what and how moisture affects 3D printing!

I'm thinking about getting a Folger Tech Cloner - Dual Extruder 3D Printer Kit as my 1st one. Is this a good choice for a 1st time printer?

Are you familiar with the Zortrax M200? Does it matter if it's open source or not?

Hello!
I am new to this community and need your help. I am a media specialist for four middle schools and have 4 3d printers. They have the smart extruder+ and when I saved a file to a USB to print, the printer said that the file was for a smart extruder not a smart extruder +. How do I find out if I am saving the correct file for my 3d printer?

Most 3Dprinters open stl or obj files and generate g-code. Makerbot has a .makerbot file for fifth gen printers and Gcode/x3g/s3g for prior machines

+Timothy McGuire What your asking is not so simple, another's configuration.h file will not be terrible useful for you, even from a similar machine. If all your looking for is what setting to enable, you would be much better served researching this in the marlin documentation.

Additionally, Tom Sandlanderer has fantastic guide videos that should get you going. youtube.com - 3D printing guides: Setting up auto bed tramming leveling tilt compensation! .

Check this out!
I designed this for a 5/16" rod, I also made a file for an 8mm rod, but it is untested. If you use the 8mm file, please let me know if it works well or if it is too tight. Video: https://youtu.be/0k8qa6qDu3s

There's a little bit of "blobs", is it because it is too fast or too hot or both? Should I play more with retraction?
I use a bowden setup my speed for retraction is set to 100 and 4.5 in Cura.

Material PETG 1.75
Print speed :60
Print quality: 0.2
Heat bed : 70
Nozzle: 235
