10+ miles tonight with a Running buddy. She helped motivate me quite well after being down for almost a week from a head cold.

Rollin Nolen 10 Miler. I dressed warm, but I either got too hot, or it was too cold, there was no happy medium. Those last two miles of hills were brutal. Overall though had a good time.

100 miler done!
First 100 miler 7/8/17 (and 7/9/17)

Canal Corridor 100:

I won't write much at the moment because it's late but I wanted to post the pics I have.

My original first 100 was scrapped due to schedule conflicts, so 37 days before CC100 I started thinking about signing up. After much contemplation and talking to a couple friends, I signed up.
The thing that stands out most in my memory is that this one was actually scary, or risky. I didn't want to fail at a race but the possibility was really there. I figured my training was good enough since I ran 82 miles on similar surfaces only a little cooler in spring.
I struggled with shoe problems, that I will have to work on before attempting another event like this. Besides my shoes and blisters, I do think I was adequately prepared. At least as much as I could be when going into something like this.

Finish time 28 hrs 12 mins
42nd out of 48
19 DNF'S

I'll try to write some memories from my race when I get a chance.

Thank you for reading!

I've just did my first run where I switched shoes during the same activity. I noticed that if you add 2 pairs of shoes on a 9 mile run, it puts 9 miles onto both pairs. Does anyone know if this might be a future update, being able to add 2 pairs of shoes and saying "5 miles in Saucony shoes, 4 miles in Brooks" or something like that, to properly track mileage per pair?
