I am looking to revise my docs for our new teachers as they have classroom visits to other teachers.... Does anyone have anything in place that they would be willing to share?

Happy start to the work week! Jackie and I will be hosting our first induction academy on Tuesday, October 3rd. Feel free to 'virtually' join us via Nearpod to see how we are supporting and celebrating our new teachers and our student teachers. We will post a code to our presentation on Tuesday. Start time is at 4:15 and end time is at 6:15. You can stay for part or all of the presentation. You can even watch the presentation at a later time. #learningandgrowingtogether

All great points to share with our new (and seasoned) teachers! Gotta love Universal Design for Learning (UDL). 💕

Interesting findings in this report, which includes the views of our new teachers.

Getting ready for a full day with new teachers in our Year 1 and Year 2 Induction program. Really want day to be relevant for all. What are some ways you do that for your specialists (psychologists, counselors, speech and language clinicians) in your Induction program?

Spoke to the wonderful Alicia Moore! Hoping to connect her with us via GHO sometime this year at PIIC.

Hello Fellow Educators!

It was wonderful to connect with you at PIIC earlier this week. If you would like a copy of the Stepping Up Support for New Teachers article, you can find in the May issue of Ed. Leadership or by contacting the author/creator: Alicia Moore @ acmoore@spsmail.org. If you connect with her, please let her know I sent you :)
