The true value of any organization should not just be evaluated financially but also by the social and environmental impact that it has. Came across this website of a cement manufacturing company KNOWN As Ambuja cement. Their approach towards sustainability is truly commendable. They are a part of the cement sustainability initiative that looks out for ways and means to inculcate sustainability in their cement production techniques. They are known as a water positive cement manufacturing company because of their process of reusing and recycling water. They also managed to reduce their overall carbon emission drastically and hence played a big role in reducing pollution.
Check out the following link to know more about their approach!!

One of the easiest ways to start is probably... with the lights
- open your window treatments and let the sun invade your home.
- start replacing those old incandescent light bulbs with fluorescent ones, or better yet, with LED light-bulbs. Fluorescent and LED light bulbs use significantly less energy, so you can save some $green$. LED lights have other added benefits: they produce less heat, and are long lasting.
-  turn off the lights that you are not using

Did you know that many countries around the world have a ban on incandescent light bulbs?
