The brioche stitch finished. I made lots of mistakes on this one. But, I'm not giving up . Going to try it again in different colors on the all in one knittingboard. This one was done on the round orange loom.

Here is a dish towel holder that I made on the loom. I purchased a pattern on Etsy and found it hard to understand. Therefore I decided to rewrite it and this is what I ended up with. I am considering posting the pattern here for feedback to see if you can follow along. Let me know if you are interested.

I still can't believe I finished this blanket in just a week! The Zippy loom + chunky yarn = FAST and FUN! I only bought one loom since I was skeptical if I'd like it. So I tweaked the 5 stitch blanket by goodknitkisses on the Zippy and made it just for 4 pegs since that's all I had to work with. It came out pretty nice I think and I took it off the loom at 3 this morning and happily snuggled up in bed with it. :D It measures roughly 50 x 60 so completely covers me from chin to feet with teensy room to spare. Now that I know I like the loom I plan on buying at least one more if not two and do another 5 stitch blanket using the proper pattern. I plan on making the next blanket big enough to actually cover my Queen size bed.

I have been working on my original version of the 10 stitch blanket for almost 2 years now since it's only made with scrap yarn or left over yarn I find at thrift shops that aren't full skeins. It's finally getting  some good size to it and now covers my lap nicely. I plan on knitting on it until it reaches from my neck to my toes, so this could take awhile lol!

Hi, loom knitters! I'm new to the craft myself and wondered if anyone uses cotton worsted yarn for loom knitting projects. I'm trying it now on a 36 peg circular. It's a little tough going, so I wondered if maybe I shouldn't have tried cotton at all. This is my first loom knitting community and I've already seen some great stuff.
