The cat photo-bombed my weaving photos. It's about 7 metres long, 32 cm wide. I used it to make a tunic.

Is this an active group still?

Hello! I am new to weaving, I bought a 24" Kromski Harp about two months ago. I went to a parking lot sale and bought bags of yarn so I could experiment and not feel guilty about "wasting" yarn. I am hoping to learn to make my weaving look better!

The edges of my weaving are really ragged, even though I am holding the end and kind of easing it over the last warp to make a smooth turn. Any suggestions?

Hi, I'm new here and pretty much new to weaving.  Years ago in college I took a weaving class (table loom) and loved it but it's taken me about 40 years to actually get back to it! I have a 32" Kromski rigid heddle and have only had it a week so I am SOOO still learning. This looks like a great group to belong to, glad I found you!

So glad to have found this community! I weave, spin, knit crochet, etc. I have a 16" rigid heddle Ashford loom that I still have to wax before I put it together, etc. Am hoping that this community will inspire me to get moving. All my other looms came fully assembled. This is the only one that I have to assemble and the only rigid heddle loom I have.

HELP - Can we use 2 heddles on a ridge loom? If yes, can you advise where would I find the info? Thank you for your help in advance.

I joined this group because I wanted a rigid heddle loom.  I have ordered 1 & can hardy wait. It is coming next week. I will post a picture when  it comes.

My name is Roberta, I am a wife, mother, 2 adults men, & grandmother,  2 teenage granddaughters

Just started on a 16" Ashford Rigid Heddle Loom.  I love the idea of combining colors and textures to make scarves and shawls.  I'm excited to start a new project.  Oh, the possibilities!

Hello Everyone!
A few months ago I picked up a nice Beka Rigid Heddle loom and accessories at a yard sale. I've always wanted to learn how to weave. One of my Great Grandmothers was a weaver along with some of my other ancestors. I'm getting ready to try my very first weaving project in a couple of weeks. Time to review my pattern and instructions.
