CloudMonkey V5.1.0 is the next feature release of the 5.x line which first
released on September 24, 2013. Some of the noteworthy new and improved features
include:

- Support for version 3 of the CloudStack API signing procedure. This adds
security by preventing replay attacks.
- Support for using session-based logins to CloudStack. This simplifies initial
bootstrap of the CLI.

Downloads and Documentation

The official source code for the v5.1 release, can be downloaded from the Apache
CloudStack downloads page at http://cloudstack.apache.org/downloads.html. A
community maintained distribution is available at the Python Package Index
(PyPi) at http://pypi.python.org/pypi/cloudmonkey/

I have a good question about the virtual router. Is it possible to give a public IP directly to a VM without virtual router?

The short answer is yes. You can disable dhcp that the VR would usually handle by default then use an external dhcp. And though i have not used it, citrix netscaler is also supported.

Anyone have troubleshooting steps for system - VM's not starting? Everything is set and connected. They keep cycling and I can't manually start them either. Looks as if my Cents SO template failed to download also.

Apache CloudStack 4.4 with Advanced Networking Setup Pt. 1 - Installing CloudStack with cldstk-deploy Tool -  http://thyperadvsr.com/1t2giFj
This post is the start of a few posts that will setup a CloudStack environment from scratch then get it to the point where you have advanced networking configured and deploying vm instances. The step of course is to get CloudStack installed.

I can't recall having any major issues setting this up. Nor was there any major issue from the user standpoint. One thing is around automating the user adds to cloudstack when someone wanted access. There is a ui piece that helps with manual adds if your ok to use that. The other is users were confused with the "domain" nomenclature that cloudstack ui uses which is not the same as a active directory domain when logging into cloudstack.
