I'd love some feedback on our latest project we did for a #kickstartercampaign   out of New Jersey. We were given samples of the clothing and a list of features to work with. From their we cast the talent, wrote the scripts, storyboarded, created the logo and branding, copy writing, website, photography, and video production/post production for three #kickstarter   campaigns with another one on order. Check out the videos, website, and let me know what you think!

How do you turn on younger audiences? VML and the Folly Theater in #kansascity  hope encouraging them to turn on smartphones will help. A rowdy burlesque show might not hurt, either. http://bizj.us/szvyd via +Kansas City Business Journal

How To Get Out of the Google Penguin Updates
I love reading +Search Engine Watch  and understand they are limited on who shows ads on their websites but..... WOW
So, Yes I was curious on what they have to sell, and I am sure you can answer that question with >>>>

Hmmm Link Building Pages such as http:// pageonepower.com /link-building-packages
(you can put the link together above, I just didn't want to support it)

Disclaimer:
I was reading about the new Bing Autosuggest feature and came across this ad, I have no idea who they are but figured I would point out ads like this for reasons of exposure to how LAX Google is on advertising however I did not look at the code to confirm, it could be a different ad distribution network.. NOT SURE

Good Morning, I am not sure if you got your monthly website traffic reports however on May 22nd we had a very large update from Google Called Penguin V2.0 what this update was focused on was bad links, comment spam as well as many other factors... Google also plans to start rolling out other updates for this summer so it would be wise as a business owner to pay close attention to your website RANKINGS as well TRAFFIC for any noticeable drops.

I would also recommend having an expert take a look at your link profile as many companies woke up this morning thinking sales kinda slowed and traffic looks like Google Shut off the Faucet.

For more information about this update you can view my profile for all the updates I have sent out on my Google+ page as well, here is a great run down of what Google is Doing.

+Loqey Studios  is going after the #automotive   market!

From the young buck with a chip on his should  because he has something to prove:
Hey, I'm reaching out to several of you car dealers I've hand picked that I'd be interested in working with. To give you a quick lay of the land, I run a creative studio, we are currently working on our first automotive project, and my personal goal in life right now is to blow away all of the video companies you are already using. I'd like to get you the quality of video and graphics that usually only manufacturers can afford,  and try to do it for pricing that is comparable if not better than what you are paying.

Why?:
Because I'm a young ambitious guy who happens to have a chip on his shoulder about how much video companies charge for ugly car commercials and I'm hardheaded enough to not give a damn if it pisses my competitors off that I underbid them to build out my auto portfolio.

I'm not in your city, why am I bothering you?:
Because of a couple of reasons. #1) I have certain mysterious resources that will let me get all of the local footage establishing you, your brand, and location, for less than you'd pay, without ever setting foot in your city. #2) I can source most of the cars you'd want me to shoot and keep it local so you get the advantage of all of the low cost resources like sexy models, sound engineers, voice over artists, etc. that I have built up exactly for this. #3) Even if I do need to transport my team out there, it could still save you money or at least give you a way better product.

What am I proposing?
Quite simple. I have one more shoot left to wrap up this first project before I can show you final product. If you are interested, let me know and I'll email you the video when it's finished . If you like what you see, we can talk.

Why we are quite awesome:
I'm attaching what I've had time to put together (1st link at bottom: MG explainer for current client, 2nd link: some rough draft footage from one of the 5 car shoots we pulled off in one day along with the music we composed (client chose genre) for the commercial. Keep in mind that this was our first ever Automotive shoot, we had to figure it out on the fly, shot 5 commercials in one day (5x more than you are supposed to try and accomplish), and I didn't have my new master camera operator who has plenty of experience filming cars at the time. *If my team can accomplish that in their first practice run without our best CO, how do you think it's going to look if we shoot one for you? Also, on top of all the sexy models, awesome locations, and talented people, we can shoot with cameras that would make your current production company green with envy. For our nicer commercials, we can shoot with RED Epics, the same cameras they use for filming: Thor, The Book Of Eli, Spiderman, Elysium, Wrath of the Titans, and on and on and on.

So check out the pictures of some of the cars we've shot, our actors, equipment, and let me know if you are interested in chatting.

So let me get this right... +Loqey Studios and crew are stepping things up a notch as I have seen some of those video clips with the cars and all the detail you guys went into with even random shots with GoPro Cameras in strategic locations for the best shot. I cannot wait to see what they create for a final production... Super Excited.

Oh and GREAT JOB GUYS and GALS!

Wired uses a visual of the KC skyline for its post about the proliferation (and meaninglessness) of city rankings.

Who here has a love/hate relationship with lists/rankings? They attract clicks, but often seem to lack substance.

Ok people, this picture has nothing to do without what I'm about to ask, but I believe that it's important to entertain people online when you want their attention and the face my actor was making is borderline scary.

<b>I have two questions that I would really appreciate some feedback on.</b>

#1: How many of you think that even half of your online audience read the "About Us" section's of your websites that we all spend so much of our time writing and hoping that they will read and see why we are so different than our competitors?

#2: If you are like me, and have realized that very few people read it, how many of you would be interested in a way that you could force expose every one of your website visitors to "who you are as a company" without annoying them in the process?
