Just a note to announce a Google Educator Level 1 Bootcamp at Milford High School at the end of February.

We also have a Level 2 scheduled at College of St. Joseph in Rutland two weeks later and another coming up in NH in the spring.

Google Trainer Certification Bootcamp is also coming... if you don't have your Educator Level 1 yet, join us in Milford and I assure you, you will be one soon after! :)

Take care and Happy Holidays!

The Google Play Store for Chromebooks is available for EDU domains and it is VERY EASY to use! You do need compatible Chromebooks but all new Chromebooks will be compatible. I explain in the videos and show you how to set up the Admin Panel to run and create your Android School Store. The second video shows the student/user view ~ how forced install/pinned apps appear and what they see in the school Play Store. Your thoughts and ideas are most welcome. Is this super exciting for you as an admin? a teacher? A tablet and Chromebook all in one is pretty good stuff, in my opinion.

Hi all, ~ From +Debbie Boisvert +Debbie Boisvert

I am pulling together a panel , Writing policies that support NH Law and the Educational Environment, at the McAuliffe conference on Wednesday afternoon 3:15-4:15. The panel will consist of our superintendent, a Deerfield school board member, Maria Knee and myself. We will be talking about how our district is responding to recent legislation on social media and recording in the classroom.

I would love to share policies that other schools have developed. I have set up a Google folder for people to upload copies of policies that they would be willing to share. Here is the link https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0BxVL913rNwPOd0VoQ1hZT0Q2UGc&usp=sharing. If it is easier to just email them to me that would be fine too.

I would also like to share information about where other schools are with policy development process. I have created a very short (5 or 6 questions)Google form to collect information. I would really appreciate it if you have time to fill this out https://docs.google.com/a/sau53.org/forms/d/194FkUXyvu_fUlc0Hs5upLdh0z9gQ4YuCF7g3z2QTU4Y/viewform. If it is easier to just email them to me that would be fine too.

We certainly don't have the answers, but we do have a lot of question.
We welcome your input

I've got a full wireless network available for reuse in your school, was rock solid before I took it out we just had an opportunity for the upgrade to 802.11ac. It's an HP MSM760 Controller, 3-HP Procurve 2520G-24-POE switches and 24 HP MSM320 Access Points. Not sure how to get this posted otherwise and thought this may get some visibility to those that may need it or know another who may. Email/message me if you are interested or need more information. Not even sure how this would work school to school here in the State but I'd hate to sell it off anther way if someone out there needs it.
