***JUST MY TWO CENTS***OK Let me just get this out of the way right out the gate.
I like Anthony Joshua and the excitement he brings to the heavyweight the heavyweight division.
His fight with Wladimer Klitscko was the kind of heavyweight title fight I haven't seen in YEARS. A thriller. Joshua has room for improvement and hopefully he will sharpen his game as he goes Along.
That being Said I also like Deontay Wilder as well.
What's not to like?
Sure he has his flaws and his resume is on the thin side.
However Wilder is EXCITING and he BRINGS IT.
His highlight reel kayo of the polish fighter Spzlizer has to be one of the most jaw dropping knockouts I've seen since Lennox Lewis pole- axed Razor Ruddock.
So when I see two good( not great) and dynamic big men at a peak time in their careers being champions then I would think the Natural progression is that they square off and settle accounts as to who is the king of the heavyweight hill.
Hold up, that makes sense right??
However when I see not just the promoter but the FIGHTER HIMSELF Start to talking that talk about the A side vs B side business then I think
" Ok get ready, the B.S. is about to rain down."
I know Joshua is a reserved guy who does his business quietly behind close doors. I get That.
However this nonsense about the A side versus B side is getting out of hand.
A fighter should never say things like if the other guys demands are too much then NO fight.
What happened to calling the other guys bluff and just go out there and show why you believe YOU are the Man? Give the other guy what he wants.
Forget crotch measuring negotiation
Bravado and machismo.
That doesn't define a champions HEART.
I'm not calling Josh a coward, far from it.
However his attitude suggests to me that he's putting BUSINESS before
Professional pride.
In that regard I give Deontay Wilder the edge and a thumbs up.
He WANTS this. You KNOW he wants it.
Does Joshua??

I like two things here.
A) Golovkin admits it wasn't a vintage performance from him and
B) He gives Canelo credit for making some progress in his game.
That being Said Golovkin and team should NOT wait around too long for Golden Boy to see when and if a rematch will take place within a reasonable time.
In REALITY Golovkin doesn't need Canelo. He has all the belts except one.
He would be well served to fight the winner of Lemeuix and Saunders and then rematch Danny Jacobs.
Should a rematch with Canelo occur within the time frame they're saying( May 2018), then my opinion is this: GO OUT THERE AND FIGHT this guy like Marvin Hagler style and take NO prisoners.
Forget about the sit back and jab looking for openings thing.
Don't let this guy breath. Go out there and break his body down and take his heart.
He doesn't hit hard enough to deter you. You have the better chin.
Don't fight at 75 percent but at 110 percent and do what Hagler did to Hearns, Hamsho, Alan winter etc...
No excuses here Triple G. Don't let it go the distance.
If you want to join the ranks of a Hagler then PERFORM like The Marvelous one and crush this guy.

I said it several times in the last couple of years.
George Saint Pierre is one of the most complete fighters to ever enter the Octogan.
Is he the BEST ever? That's a debate for another day. However I will say that his record, his consistentcy and now after being four years away from the SPORT to come back and do this, he just adds MORE to his exemplary professionalism and RESPECT for His Art.
He also was an advocate for PED testing when it was not popular to do so even offering to pay out of his own
Pocket for the opponents testing as well.
No stain here like Anderson Silva, John Jones and numerous others.
Just good old fashioned hard work and commitment.
I've been an admirer of the man for a long time and he earned the respect due a dedicated Warrior.
Take a bow George.
