It's a couple of days past opposition, but Mars won't be at closest approach to Earth until the 31st, so there's still plenty of time to get out and see our (current) nearest planetary neighbour.

Tonight's view is centred on the Arabia Terra region, bounded by the Sabaeus and Meridiani sinuses above in this image, Syrtis Major to the left, and the Mare Acidalium to the right. The small North Polar Cap is seen at the lower right.
