Hey all running a game finally in pbp and running into a couple questions mostly during negotiations.

1) If the provider (black die) and the client (Red Die) find themselves 1 space apart on the Sway Tracker how do you folks handle that?
My read of the rules would make it seem that your Taker and the client are sort of battling for this space. So long as each party only brings +1 Sway to the round the space stays unoccupied. If the Taker fails a roll then the client would move down and if either can bring +2 Sway they’ll take it (in this case if the client used a spot and the Taker failed, then the red would move into that open spot as well as push the black die back 1).

2) During Negotiations the only mention of Crits deals with the opening Leadership roll which starts the Provider at At Value rather than the default position. *
*How do you deal with a crit Persuasion during the negotiation?
I had given the provider an additional +1 Sway with the caveat that on a Crit Fail the client would not be impressed and would instead gain an additional +1 Sway for themselves (moving the red left two spaces).

Or should Crits just be ignored during negotiations?
