Update on AndroiDAQ

My New Electronics Book
After all the support from friends, family, and customers, I just published my first book titled "The Ultimate AndroiDAQ Guide". It has been a long time in the making, as it seems that I always find things to change. In that vein and where it seems that technical books such as this are never really finished (I have a lot of other ideas that I will be adding into the book in the future), I opted to use LeanPub as my media distribution outlet. This will allow all my readers/customers to benefit from the book in its current form now, and as future edits are added, they will receive notification of the updated versions of the book. The book is available in the three most popular reader formats for your reading pleasure. I invite all interested to come by my book site and let me know if you have any questions or requests to add in to my book, and perhaps purchase my book for your eReader library. I want to thank you all for your support in my life and during this adventure.

As promised, here is my new blog post about using the new AndroiDAQ DEMO for LabVIEW feature called oScope. oScope is a digital oscilloscope for use with the AndroiDAQ module and its ADC chip.

Introducing the AndroiDAQ oScope

Something new for the AndroiDAQ DEMO for LabVIEW application. Introducing the AndroiDAQ oScope. With AndroiDAQ and the AndroiDAQ oScope application you have a portable oscilloscope on your Android phone or tablet. You simply enter the number of samples you want and also the sample rate time interval between samples, and then press Read Samples. AndroiDAQ read the samples and then display the waveform of the sample from the ADC on the oScope screen.  Stay tuned for more information...

I just published a new blog article about how to use AndroiDAQ's analog to digital converter chip. The AndroiDAQ uses Microchip's MCP3208, which has 8-channels of ADC and measures the outside world at 12-bit resolution. I invite all to peruse the article and let me know what you think.
