What I Did To Make Losing Weight Easy Most People Have Never Tried This

The one simple little strategy I used to make losing weight easy. Hi there, I would like to share with you a little about whatI did to make losing weight easy and my weight loss story. It is not one of those I lost 150 pounds stories but is probably a more common weight loss story that most people struggle with and can relate to as they get older. That is of a slowing metabolism and an increased interest in eating good food. I, like many, just continued to add pounds every year. Of course Christmas has been always bad, I would add 10 pounds and then if I was lucky lose 5, but regardless every year I would end it with more fat on my body than the year previous. So I have successfully lost weight 3 times now, about 30 to 40 pounds. The most I have weight is about 230 pounds and I am 6 feet tall. Not so bad, but when I went to calculate my BMI one day, it said that I was mildly obese. WHAT? Ok, I can admit I’m a little over weight and might even say a little fat, but obese. Well, according to the BMI rating that was what I was. Me at about 228 plus, I don’t have too many full body pictures of myself when I am heavier and I use my girlfriend to hide my body…lol Ok, so the first time I lost a fair amount of weight was about 5 years ago, I hired a trainer, worked out a ton, but didn’t know much about nutrition or dieting. So my weight loss was slow but I got down about 190 lbs was close to 40 pounds. But unfortunately, I strayed away from my program and within about 1 year I was back close to 230 again. So the second time I finally had enough of feeling like a stuffed cow, I was spending some time in the Philippines with my girlfriend and decided to get rid of some of my extra weight, again. This time I got some help from a friend and focused more on my #diet. I did do some running but primarily I lost weight by managing my food intake. The main focus of my diet was to cut carbs and sugar, and limit my calories. Sounds fairly normal as most diets, but this diet was more of a Ketogenic Diet, or better known as The Adkins Diet. I didn’t follow any real plan just cut carbs and sugar and tracked every calorie I eat on a good tracker. SO here are the stats for this effort while I was in the Philippines. Jan 30, 2013 I weight 212.9, (I was a little heavier than that, but this is when I started to track my progress). Oh, I forgot, my little secret, I made a weight loss bet and put down a $1000   dollars   to reach my weight loss goal of 180 lbs by April 15th (2.5 months) or I lose my money. This might sound a little extreme, but it was the only way I could get serious about losing that much weight, and it worked for me. Me at about 185 with some spanking new clothes. I was probably in my early 20’s since I weighed 183. Well, April 6th I weight in at 179.8, down 33.1 lbs and 2 pant sizes, beating my weight loss bet and I got my money back. I did leave about $300 dollars on the bet for maintenance but then got that back about 1 month later when I stayed within 5 pounds of my goal. I am currently in the process of my third weight loss journey, because yes, I did put a lot of that weight back on. I am currently down 22 pounds and have about 12 more to go to reach my goal, this time, 190 pounds. This time, however, I am doing it without a weight loss bet, Because now I know what I can do, and fortunately, my memory of how great I felt when my weight was down is motivation enough to do it again. Now my next quest is how to keep it off. I really think that keeping weight off is a way bigger challenge when it comes to weight loss than how to get it off. I know that I am going to find a way to do this, though, just like I found a way to get it off. Maybe I will have to put some money down again, maybe more than $1000 dollars because I do like to eat, and have a terrible sweet tooth as well.
