Things I have learned recently as a new mother. There is and never will be any time to yourself! Whether it's taking a shower or taking a poo. There's always a little one staring right at you in the door way! Can't say I don't enjoy the company. But it's one of the reason I've practically abandoned my few but beloved member of my community I was so excited about. There's always some sort of sickness one of us has and work that needs to be done and business to take care of. Does anyone have any ideas on how to manage everything better? Give us struggling moms some answers, and if you see someone with the same problems share my community with them so we can all help each other out

Apparently teething tablets cold tablets and pretty much anything in a dissolving tablet form is not worth buying for your child I don't see it helping any at all. Although good hydration and some much needed skin to skin and love is what helps your babies mood and get well quicker. Take a shower with your sick one let the water run hot first to make the room steamy then cool the temp and set some Vicks on the side of the tub to help with stuffy nose. And the skin on skin gets you good cuddles in the shower and makes your LO feel more comfortable. Wanna sleep without a shirt for once bring your baby to bed get naked and a little sheet(it'll get hot) and let your baby sleep without that cutie night gown you love to put him/her in. And get some skin on skin! As much as possible will make them feel super comfortable atleast until they can start asking questions like what are boobies xD

Does anyone else feel they need another kid to retry things you wish you tried harder on? (Like breast feeding as a example) lol

No matter the race, when they are this young, they are perfect.

"In a state of deep meditation one feels filled by such a surge of life that, for that very reason, the question of the ‘why’ of things no longer exists. This surge of life is the imperative descent of non-being to being. It is at the same time an all-pervading sensation and a recognizable flavor. It is a certitude that wipes out every question.” (Lizelle Reymond, To Live Within)

This is the INSIDE of my Calgary, AB, window sill today! Global Warming my A××! High of -15, with windchill of -30 celsius (and that is an improvement of -15 from yesterday; practically balmy!).
