QUESTION: According to Google Analytics (GA), a specific page has received only 134 pageviews between 8 JUN 15 and 8 JUL 15. The problem is that only 2 of these show as coming from Facebook (FB)--one mobile and one desktop--but FB stats show 203 link clicks for this particular page. There are also other stats for the page which come from MailChimp (MC) that are not being recorded in GA either. In total, there should be 671 pageviews, not 134. If we set aside the MC numbers (probably due to the client not having GA integrated with MC), why is there such a huge discrepancy between GA and FB?

It doesn't look like the fact that the links are not tagged has anything to do with it because the numbers would be there regardless, but just show up in different places.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you taken a look at any of their filters? There may be some fiilters that are affecting the GA results.

QUESTION
Does anyone know a good source or stat to show the dominance of search? I'd love to show just how prevalent search engine usage currently is.

Thank you!

Recently, Alex Stepman, of Stepman's PC shared a simple case of this principle.

A local business wants to compete in an industry-specific field, yet it's website is woefully lacking. In terms of ranking, it doesn't even appear on the first page for an industry-specific search. However, the business considered their own website to be "beautiful" and "informative." When asked about their development, the owners responded, "Top notch."

Imagine you had just been removed
from your home, and your family. You are put in the back of a car and are headed for the unknown. You don't have any belongings. No one to console you, no teddy bear to hang on to and nothing that gives you any comfort.
You might be headed to a social worker’s office or maybe even a Foster home. As a child, you would be scared and feel all alone. You would probably be at one of these places for hours before yet another stranger took you somewhere else. Imagine going through this at the age of four!
Hug Kits gives comfort to these children during a very terrifying situation
Here’s the scoop: Up to 75% of children coming into foster care must wait in an office for 1-2 hours while a social worker calls to find them a suitable foster home placement.   Most kids have a few items in a plastic  garbage bag, but often times these kids have absolutely nothing to call their...

Google Tag Manager now has a new, more intuitive interface that makes it easy for non-technical users to add and update tags to websites and mobile applications. The new GTM V2 interface features instant search and autocomplete, new keyboard shortcuts, and a simpler default workflow.

Google is expected to migrate all the GTM accounts & containers soon to V2. So if you are still using GTM V1, you have got around a little time to get familiar with GTM V2.
Learn what’s new in Google Tag Manager V2, difference between the two versions & how to upgrade to GTM V2.
