The Android L is the new big deal when Google released the Developer Preview of Android L only for the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013) but developers managed to get it up and running on the Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 (2012) in no time as...

well, while having everything, one barely sees the need to invent new things... while when having nothing, it's way more likely to come up with something new.

How ironic. the moderators on Android Central forums handed out punishments to forum members for reacting to EXTENSIVE trolling by an asshole named "z33dev33l". The reason members were getting upset is because the AC forum staff continued to admonish members to let the mods do their jobs... EXCEPT THEY WEREN'T DOING IT.
Now it's come to light that an AC forum moderator has ADMITTED that z33dev33ls activities are deliberately malicious. No apology to any members who've been burned by the incompetence of the moderator team. No bans lifted, no infractions removed.
This boys and girls is why I've bypassed your forum security and create bogus forum accounts from spoofed IP addresses, because obviously I need to ensure I'm immune to the shitty job your moderator team does.

+Frank Abagnale Honestly, as far as I'm concerned it doesn't matter.  If someone has a problem somewhere it can be left there. The same if you have an issue with someone or a community on G+, don't bring it here.

If you like you can try asking the owners and see if they can do something but I'm not sure how involved they are in the forums.

TrackR bravo - The Thinnest Item-Tracking Device. Ever
Lose Things? Relax, TrackR bravo has your back

Keep your items at your fingertips

When Chris and Christian first came up with the idea of TrackR, they envisioned transferring the entire "database of items in our head" to our phones, just like your phonebook (remember how you used to know your best friend's phone number?).

The TrackR app is focused on achieving that vision so you let the app keep track of your items for you.

With the app design, we tried to simplify the entire user interface by enabling users to access core functions as quickly as possible.

It's of course packed with features:

2 Way Separation Alerts
Custom Ring Tones
Custom Item Icons
Customizable Alert Settings
Tracking up to 10 Items*
Background Operation

Help - my daughter accidentally deleted important photos, any way to recover them?

She was uploading to Drive, but deleted them before the process was finished. Her MotoX is not rooted, which may make it impossible, but any methods or software that works? (she will now be using auto-backup!)

Well folks I just Spent about one and a half hours putting the G3 through its paces. The conclusion is not very good. As a matter of fact I am really disappointed ! I really thought this would be my next phone. As it turns out the G3 screen is not very good. Not only is it not very good I can not tell any difference between it and a 1080p screen. The worst part about it is that there are a lot of phones with better screens including my Note 3. In comparing it to the M8 and S5 they both looked better and the S5 looked Noticeably better than even my Note 3 although that comparison is very marginal. Out of every phone I have tested the S5 looked better than all of them. So yea I would say display mate is dead on with their analogy of the S5 screen. It is also the best screen I have seen to date on a phone. Another thing I noticed is the G3 is slower than the G2 when navigating the interface. The only time the G3 screen looked really good was when I was watching the pre-loaded 2k videos. It even really made me think that it was LG's ui rendering and icon resolution more than the screen its self. But in the end that is what your going to be looking at all the time it looks dull and the screen is not all that bright either so I was very disappointed and it looks like I will be getting an S5 now !

+Phil Edge yes but its a simple fix as you can change the color sat. in the display settings on gs5. Setting it on Cinema mode actually makes it the most accurate screen (as far as Color Gamut is concerned) in the market.

1. Active display and Touchless Control.
2. The 2 dedicated low power cores aren't implemented in AOSP Roms.
3.The only reason the Moto X/G/E run well is because of the optimizations Motorola made which aren't present in AOSP

Possibly extend the life of your Chromecast with this tip!

For more great posts like this:

Today's Chromecast tip!

Inside your original Chromecast box there is a little HDMI extension cord.  You probably thought nothing of it and it is still in the box.  I advise using this even though you think you don't need it.  If you plug the Chromecast directly into the TV and it gets bumped or jarred, all the stress of the bump focuses on the connection.  You could very easily be buying another one.  With the extension any bump focuses all the stress on the cable, thereby possibly extending the life of your Chromecast device.  Especially useful for those with cats and kids.
