I have entered Alpha Opt-In two days ago but I haven't still received beta version... in addiction: It's more than a month we haven't news by +Nikolaus Fischer ... where are you? O.o

Hi Pietro, I'm still alive ;)! You haven't received an alpha update because at the time of your post, the "public" version was the most recent one, so there weren't any new alpha updates to download. I've just published a new beta-update that you should be automatically receiving via Google Play in the next few hours!

Hey everyone, I've just published v2.9.1 beta, which is just a small maintenance update (hence the .1-version-number, I don't want this to be v3.0 ;-)!). It includes the following additions/fixes:

- New "Dismiss + unlock"-swipe target action
- Fixed an inbox-preview bug related to extremely long email messages

Just to let you know, I've now published the latest beta as the "official" v2.8 to Google Play. I've still got new ideas for the next beta, don't worry ;-)!

+Nikolaus Fischer this is such a great app! The only thing missing for me is with cyanogenmod 11's default SMS app the action buttons (mark read and reply) dont show up in the circle when a new message arrives. Any chance these can be added?

Besides developing this app, I'm currently doing my PhD. You would do me an awesome favor if you could complete a 7-minute survey about how you're using your phone (if you're currently employed - no matter where). I'm giving away lots of prizes like a brand-new Moto X, a new Moto G and $100 in Google Play credit! The questionnaire can be found here: http://ww3.unipark.de/uc/MOBILE/b2ce/ (works best on a PC!)

I faced some problem, I'm using it on Xperia L and, when I select to not show dots on notification press, it always shows them.

Another problem is the notification icon is bigger, so it have a black circle in the middle of the icon when I press it, like the image below.

I would like to see the text from my WhatsApp notifications, which show up as extended notifications

I'll try to get the content of the "expanded" notification to show up, but this has to be customized for every app, as they each use a custom way of displaying the expanded notification.

I installed Dynamic Notifications on my Samsung Galaxy S 3 Version 4.1.1 and not getting it to work for some reason? I did the settings such as allowing "Messaging" & "Light Flow" blocked everything else. Set the time for screen to stay on at 5 minutes etc. Tested it texting myself from my wife's phone several times, no change? Lock screen looks the same, stays on 15 seconds, then off like it did before. I wanted it to stay on at least five minutes as I did NOT see any "repeating" features? I guess I have to use paid version for the repeating breathing alerts which light up the screen every x minutes. But I want to make sure the General features work first before buying the Premium features. BTW, I'm Deaf and can really use this feature.

Using Nexus 6, Android 6.0.1. Ever since the latest version 3.2 notifications are not working. I've tried reinstalling, resetting permissions, but still can't get it to work as before. The notification screen will not turn on, default lock screen is on place. Only way I can kind of get it to work is go wet the notification screen as the lock screen. Otherwise, nothing works. Not even auto wake or breathing notifications. It all worked great prior to this version.

There shouldn't be too much of an impact, but the best way to find out is to try it out for a couple of days.

I would love a option to they don't wake the phone when notification arrive.

That's because in pocket they can unlock and mess a lot of things and proximity sensor is too slow to turn screen off before they start touching in pocket.

For a workaround I use a pattern lock, but it's very annoying, I like without secure lock.

Tks.

There is a problem with users who use screen cover app.

The layer of active notification is under the app cover and logic should be the other way around. First I will see active notifications and cover should be under.

I hope you can check this. This is really annoying for the cover user.

I've just published a small update (v2.8beta2) that mainly contains some small bugfixes for the newly introduced features. Please note that the "inbox-style"-view is currently only enabled for Gmail-notifications, I'll extend this to other apps soon (I wanted to make sure it works for Gmail before expanding it to more apps)!

The full Changelog:
v2.8beta2:
- Fix for "Previous action-targets not getting cleared when a new notification comes in"
- Fix for "Touch-dots not showing up in the correct directions"
- Disabled lockscreen-sound when breathing (requires "WRITE_SETTINGS"-permission)

I've just released v2.8beta. I think you're going to like this update :-)! It comes with a brand new feature called "Action targets": If the notification has action-buttons associated with it (e.g. "Archive" and "Reply" for Gmail-messages), they now appear at the top when touching the main notification icon. I have attached a screenshot to clarify how this looks/works (available on JellyBean+). In addition, the details of the "secondary" notifications are now displayed at the bottom of the screen. If the current main notification has an "inbox-style" expanded notification, its content will be displayed at the bottom, too (i.e. you are now able to see the content of individual messages instead of the generic "15 new messages"-hint). If you don't like the bottom-view, you can hide it using a new option in the "Hide additional details"-submenu.

This is obviously a pretty big update, so please let me know if you run into any issues!

The full Changelog:
v2.8beta:
- [4.2+] New "Action"-swipe-targets (e.g. "Archive" and "Reply" for Gmail-notifications)
- Bottom info-row, showing a preview of the secondary-notifications content. If the current main notification has an "inbox-style" expanded notification (e.g. Gmail, Facebook), the bottom row also displays individual message contents

I've just published v2.6beta. This update (finally!) includes the ability to read the subject/first few lines of Gmail-notifications (and richer details for other app-notifications, too)! This works on KitKat+. The update also includes a new "Auto-peek"/"Hands-free"-feature, which automatically previews the notification-content for a few seconds when a new notification comes in. This can be helpful if the device is lying next to you on your desk and you want to see the content of the notification without having to interact with the device. In addition, the pattern-lockscreen has been updated to the new KitKat-design (solid white dots, white touch circles).

The full Changelog:
v2.6beta1:
- [KitKat-only] More notification details - The app can now show more content details for notifications (e.g. the subject and the first few lines of the message for Gmail-messages, rather than just the sender's name)
- "Hands-free"-mode: Added the ability to "auto-preview" the content of the notification for a few seconds when a new notification comes in (in "Advanced display options" --> "Advanced)
- Memory-management optimizations
- Swipe-to-launch-Camera fix
- New KitKat design for the pattern-lockscreen

It would be great to be able not only dismiss the notification but also have the options of mark read, archive, delete... Depending on the type of notification. +Nikolaus Fischer
