Hi - I volunteer with a state long term care advocacy program.  In the course of my professional work and my volunteer work, I've found folks often need a little help from someone who can speak-up a bit more aggressive at the appropriate levels.  My goals include providing assurance to distant adult children that Mom or Dad, living here in Florida, has someone "watching out" for their loved ones.  I've found that many older adults don't speak out about being unhappy or uncomfortable as they don't want to be perceived as complainers.  Gosh, I hope I answered your question without too much rambling. ;)
