I dream of visiting Iran (Persia) and Afghanistan since I've read "The Road to Oxiana" by Robert Byron! Why do politics (and war) restrict the freedom of travelling and knowing other places, cultures and peoples?

I am currently doing some research on the impact of EVENTS on the image of Haiti as a destination. You do not need to have already been to Haiti. The only requirement, having attended an event based on Haiti (wherever in the world the event was held). The information obtained from this survey will be used for research purposes only and no personal details will be disclosed. Your participation is very much appreciated.
