'Nor Pain Be Anymore' (1st draft)

" And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Rev. 21:4.

A new appreciation I have for the fulfilment of this promise... "Nor pain be anymore".

My trusted laptop computer
sent me fleeing to emergency's door.

I plugged it in as usual
as I've done countless times before
my second attempt after flipping a wall switch
had me buckling to the floor.

A pain excruciating rose up my side.
Yet, I managed to gently place the laptop aside

while figuring out what to do.

Emergency was on my mind
so to it in my car I flew. Until retching overtook me
ejecting more liquid than food I spewed.

Again and again, even after paramedics arrived
tending to me on a highway
thankfulness I knew.

So when promised "pain will be no more"
this physical agony along with mental pain
eliminated forevermore

Is such a blessed relief!

What many endure daily in the form of pain
my utmost respect for your endurance has to the height of a glorious mountain grown/

So if you too are suffering
with pain mental and/or physical too

Let your faith in the soon fulfilment of again this promise your strength renew:

With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say:

“Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them.

And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.

The former things have passed away.” Rev. 21:3, 4.

Another Day, . . . Grateful

Precious, even a moonless sky,
when allowed a rising sun of another day to live.

"My best I'll give,
promise." Or at least wholeheartedly try.

Since, "Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down, But a good word cheers it up." Pro. 12:25.

Words inspired read this morning
of Nehemiah
lift me from the agonising squeeze of wicked, corrupt, or weaknesses acted out abruptly

pressuring me
to insanity erupt. As a teakettle on boil
coping with neither or either of these:

Death of a loved one, serious illness, providing for our family in these times a tsunami to ride,
facing a dragon with flaming tongue, stripping our moral, our dignity our pride.

Yet, striving for humility gained through prayer, study and meditation on men and women of old bearing a similar load

I too can prevent my relationship with the Father from being ruined, spoiled.

Isaiah 41:13 renews my strength for what confronts me today:

"For I, Jehovah your God, am grasping your right hand, The One saying to you, ‘Do not be afraid. I will help you.’"

I know I can overcome... Come What May.

"Therefore, strengthen the hands that hang down and the feeble knees" "while you throw all your anxiety on him, (Jah, Jehovah)

because he cares for you." Heb. 12:12; 1 Peter 5:7. These assurances wonderful please me.

"Look! The hand of Jehovah is not too short to save, Nor is his ear too dull to hear." Isa. 59:1.

So, there is no need for me to crumble
under a crippling dead weigh of fear.

Comforted (1st draft)

Big eyes with long lashes
gazing up at you
shining with tears because of a nightmare

so real their fears
but confident they are in your ability to

pick them up, stroke their skin
maybe sing a soft song
until weary lids drop tight again.

Running so fast
puggy little legs

then oops! off the grass
onto cement
knees grazed
head bent.

You hear their cries.
You bend over

to analyze.

Wipe new wound.
Give it a sweet kiss.
Now they're off again.
Accident dismissed.

A broken heart
they thought they knew
this was the one
they'd love forever.
The two weeks flew.

Romeo and Juliet
the next week were through.
Wails endless throughout the night.
Hungry no more. No more delight.

You rock them as a little child.
You tell them stories to make them smile.
You give them hope to love again
just maybe not for a little while.

They begin to feel

A more mature love found over time.
Marriage. Children. So perfectly divine.
Employment enough to stay on course.
Then a whirlwind spin... Mate wants a divorce.

Accusations made. True or untrue.
The children paid a price undue.
Pure hatefulness heard
piercing youthful hope to blackness
as the only truth.

You promise them a better new start.
They won't believe. Feeling it's too hard.
You continue to show them it's possible and how.
They do not hear for hardened their heart.

But over time the hurt and pain
Increasing as wind in a hurricane
Shakes up their lives; awakens their brain
to ask the whys. The answers gain.

For none has power
A brother to redeem.
Even one held in high esteem.

A higher personage pure, holy, clean
Did us provide a future secure.

The next words read are no mere dream:

"For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life,

and I will resurrect him on the last day.” John 6:40.

"For the undeserved kindness of God has been manifested, bringing salvation to all sorts of people.

It trains us to reject ungodliness and worldly desires and to live with soundness of mind and righteousness and godly devotion amid this present system of things,

while we wait for the happy hope and glorious manifestation of the great God and of our Savior, Jesus Christ,

who gave himself for us to set us free from every sort of lawlessness

and to cleanse for himself a people who are his own special possession, zealous for fine works." Titus 2:11-14.

"Moreover, may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father,

who loved us and gave everlasting comfort and good hope by means of undeserved kindness,

comfort your hearts

and make you firm in every good deed and word." 2 Thess. 2:16, 17.

Comfort They generously provide to all those their commandments heed:

“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

He (Jesus) said to him:

“‘You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.’

This is the greatest and first commandment.

The second, like it, is this:

‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’ Matt. 22:36-39.

By practicing love we too can bring: Comfort.

Are not those verses comforting?

May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father . . . comfort your hearts and strengthen you.—2 Thess. 2:16, 17, ftn.

A great blessing that comes to us through Jehovah’s undeserved kindness is comfort for a distressed heart. (Ps. 51:17) To Christians in Thessalonica, who were experiencing persecution, Paul wrote the words found in today’s text. How comforting it is to be aware of the loving care that we receive from Jehovah because of his generous kindness! As sinners, on our own we would have no hope. (Ps. 49:7, 8) But Jehovah provides us with a wonderful hope. Jesus promised his followers: “This is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life.” (John 6:40) Yes, the hope of eternal life is a gift, a wonderful expression of God’s undeserved kindness. Paul, who certainly appreciated that fact, said: “The undeserved kindness of God has been manifested, bringing salvation to all sorts of people.”—Titus 2:11. w16.07 3:14, 15 © 30 minutes ago, Lucretia Mccloud love • hope • family • friendship • spiritual

[ Wrestling day in and out ]

Wrestling day in and out
With desires bad which always win
No matter how much I pray.

I try again another day.
Think hard upon another way.

Yet, here I am. And here I stay.
No matter what, come what may.

I see so many overcome
tragedies and addictions of a greater sum.

They don't look back
and fast they run to out distance their vices.

'Eat my dust' their new motto.

I wish I had what they have
instead of weakness
camouflaged in gin and rum.

O how do I spin this depend on failure's grin
to sink me lower

snide in it's deride of my lack of strength to complete a change for good?

My determination to begin coming slower and slower.

'Defeated' my clostest friend.

Why do I lack motive and drive
when others once behind me now fly right on by?

I raise my palms and eyes constantly
to ths skies... "Why?... O why can't I too soar above my excuses?... Why must I always to them comply?

I'm sick and tired of all the ruses.
Of every little and big lie to myself:

"I gave it my best!... Didn't I?"

Did I?

When do I pray?
Before or after my mistakes?

What changes in my associates do I take
to master my errors taking me into night wets screaming in terror waiting for the ax to fall on my neck... Chop! Chop!

"Take that for being a fake!"

Bolt upright I sit
flicking the switch.

And right there on the table is my mirror I avoid like broccoli wilted to toss in a ditch.

I prefer ice cream, or burgers
simpler to fix.

Not time spent digging in my dirt to plant a garden of good qualities which would help energize me to leap over the fence of fail

in which
to prevail

when partnered with those who quelled their bad habits.

For encouragement is needed to succeed.

"Go ahead!... Good work!... You're coming along."

Not, "Here. Have some. Or,... What's the matter with you? I thought you were cooler."

If you race with those taking the lead
in righteousness, humility
frowned upon by a majority

those who, even if they stumble, get back up to proceed

then you also
in deed
will be

the person you'd never believed you'd see.

Take it from me.

We've all been there; are there
in different degrees.

But God's Word directs us on how to grow
the 'fruitages of the spirit':

"love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control.

Against such things there is no law."

In association with others' who'll help you know the path to a better you and future.

Not to remain embued with "the works of the flesh":

which are "plainly seen,

and they are sexual immorality, uncleanness, brazen conduct, idolatry, spiritism, hostility, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, dissensions, divisions, sects, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and things like these."

For, "those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom."

And wouldn't that be a travesty?

As One

In darkness beauty does exist?
But light must shine. Eyes not resist
as shadows rescind. Truth persists.
God's Word insists. God's Word insists.

Lying, deception, treachery
enslaved mankind for centuries.
Yet, truth relieves like ocean breeze.
Yes, heavenly. Yes, heavenly.

Unlocks blind minds by men confined
who sought control until our time.
Their goal treasures, not ways refined.
God's gift: Our minds. God's gift: Our minds.

Is God 'one,' 'two,' 'three,' even four?
In His Book, facts we search for more.
Meek men knock to open closed doors.
Boxed, ancient lores. Boxed, ancient lores.

'Truths' butterflied to heights freely
leads to life heavenly, earthly
For 'little flock,' 'great crowd' to be:
Eternally. Eternally.

Pardise worldwide to abide.
Peaceful secure to reside.
Tranquil as a river water slide.
Or oceanwide. Or oceanwide.

Orcas, whales, even sharks at play.
Children fearless where lions lay.
On knees daily in thanks to pray.
'Praise Jah!" We say. 'Praise Jah!" We say.

For Jesus our Eternal King
And his disciples with him bring
an end to death and suffering!
As one will'll sing! As one will'll sing!

A Deadly Partnership

Think of bartering with the Devil?
Know... you're way over your head.
For he's proven he has no love or loyalty.

So in the end you are
or you'd wish yourself

truly dead. For his cost is high.
You may pray to die.

True, an 'angel of light' called
just to mislead you instead of letting you
be found by Jah and Christ
who for obedient humanity
showed love so intense.

Jesus hung until his heart ruptured
inside his chest. It bled
until he was put to rest.

Satan's 'bursing in the heel' prophesied.
After Christ conquered. He finished his test.

Then the Almighty did His Anointed Christ resurrect. And he's on the dragon's tail.

reflect upon all that has been said
and what to his older spirit brother Jesus
he had done.

And think... For once Satan's got from you what he wants

He's through.

And if you're fortunate Jah won't be too. Although Jehovah did warn, this verse in review:

"Do not be misled: God is not one to be mocked. For whatever a person is sowing, this he will also reap". Gal. 6:7.

Yes, as Job stated:

"What I have seen is that those who plow what is harmful and those who sow trouble will reap the same." Job 4:8.

Look at our world and it's future by means of enlightened eyes. With wisdom imbued. Toppling in terror. Brewing hatred and violence as everyday stew.

A partnership with Satan... Utterly insane!
He loves no one.

Not even YOU.

“What will you give me to betray him to you?”

They stipulated to him 30 silver pieces.

So from then on, he kept looking for a good opportunity to betray him." Is what Judas decided to do.

Once in favor with Jah and Christ.

Then why become slanderous without debating this vice?

Could greed have him prevailed?

“Why has this perfumed oil been wasted?
his nose assailed.

Hypocritical Judas allowed Jesus to wash his feet

while all the while planning the greatest deceit

on the night Jesus agonized about victory complete.

How do we keep from Judas' stray?

Is contemplation about love the excelling way?

Watch our deeds and always pray
then eternally we shall with Jah and Jesus stay

in peace and harmony among a brotherhood
even existing here on earth today.

Horsemen Four

Galloping horses
wars, death, famine on earth force.
Pale, red, black on course
devouring resources.
Checks not 'drawn on'. Won't endorse

White horse rider rules.
Gallops forth to trample 'fools'?
Revelers not schooled
by Theocracy. Blind. Cruel
men who destroy Jah's footstool.

'Pupil of His Eye' 1st draft

What a wonderful hope!

Jesus' sacrificed his life "so that through his death he might bring to nothing the one having the means to cause death, that is, the Devil". Heb. 2:14.

But watchful we must be against this roaring enemy using even so-called 'friends' and 'family' to us deceive during these critical 'last days' winding down to the Devil's confinement and the Messiahs' long-awaited victory.

Look at the days of Noah,

who would have believed that among the daily victims of Nephilim violence more would not have been saved and happily relieved.

But let's also read of a comparison Christ to his disciples in warning gave. Here it quotes:

"For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be.

For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage,

until the day that Noah entered into the ark;

and they took no note
until the flood came and swept them all away,

so the presence of the Son of man will be." Matt. 24:37-39.

Preoccupied to the death eternally
with the pursuit of wealth or 'just chillin' doing nothing

when Jesus mandated activity:

"Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit,

teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.

And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.” Matt. 28:19, 20.

So the 'great tribulation' which no man has ever seen

means life or death to Christ's followers if staying tuned to things unseen.

"For then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again.

In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved;

but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short." Matt. 24:21.

Before 'Babylon the Great' religious harlot has been dethroned as luxurious 'Queen' all must decide.

Because, justly there will be no in-between:

"And you will again see the distinction between a righteous person and a wicked person, between one serving God and one not serving him.” Mal. 3:18.

"Everyone exercising faith'
'might not be destroyed but have everlasting life." John 3:16.

If whole-hearted in godly devotion and not comfortable with violence escalating because of envy and strife

or 'love of money' bringing on atrocities done commonly although demonic in vice.

"As for the wicked, they will be cut off from the earth, and the treacherous will be torn away from it." Prov. 2:22.

"Jehovah is not slow concerning his promise, as some people consider slowness,

but he is patient with you

because he does not desire anyone to be destroyed

but desires all to attain to repentance." 2 Pet. 3:9.

So, why not strive to please Jah
and you and your descendants' will live forever since you will have heeded this advice:

" You must choose life
so that you may live,

you and your descendants". Deut. 30:19.

Because Jehovah mercifully
sincerely repentant ones

choses to forgive.

For didn't He send to earth His best?

And don't we appreciate His divine love stressed when he horribly saw, for humanity, His only-begotten Son die?

Then why follow satan 'touching the pupil of His eye"?

"For this is what Jehovah of armies says, who after being glorified has sent me to the nations that were plundering you:

‘Whoever touches you touches the pupil of my eye.* Zec. 2:8.

What We Hate

When outward at others' faults
we only see, usually we recognize
what we hate in our own personality
but fail to acknowledge this
in our daily of them screen:
Us becoming more like them
in our perception--
A monstrosity.

For if we take on in retaliate
their faults and errors
we imitate
without reflecting upon this state
we then mirror

What we hate.
