About this community

Hi My Name is Matt and I am a Fujiholic... I am also a Official Fuji X Photographer. I got addicted to Fuji following the purchase of the amazing X100 ! This was followed by the sale of all my Nikon Pro gear and I am now totally addicted to Fuji ! I now own most of the lenses they have made, the amazing XPro1 and the XT1. My future addictive purchases are likely to be the Xpro2 in 2015 and the 90mm f/2 and the list goes on... Fuji has changed my life and I now have to have my daily fix even if I just look at these amazing little cameras or talk about them I have to have Fuji in my day. I started a closed group to bring Fuji addicts together, there has been quite a large amount of people wanting to join the original group but we don't want the group dynamic to change, so I have set up other groups so that everyone can like and share the fujnesssss.. I am not one for too many rules and have been known to be very outspoken and have the odd rant ! This community is for you all to be free and share what you want and lets see how it evolves ! I will try to keep you all up to date with any Fuji related events that are open to everyone. Rude and dogmatic people with big ego's will not be tolerated in the group and will be removed without discussion. Have fun and keep it friendly..

I should not have sold my old FujiFilm x10 a few years ago...I miss that little camera.

Hi Guys,

Here is the route for the weeeknd.

www.plotaroute.com/route/282494

You can download the route to a GPS devise or your smart phone. You will need a GPX viewer on your device to read the file.

You can also print of a map, we will be staying as close to the route as we can but we might wonder up and down more interesting streets as close to the route.

We will give out our position on social media all day and we will stop for breaks along the way to allow people to catch up or re-join the group.

We will aim to tweet our position throughout the day from the @fujiholics twitter feed, we will be using the #FujiholicsPW16 so feel free to use this tag on the day.

If you want to share your images of the day you can share them on our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/fujiholics or by tagging us in your images on Instagram using #Fujiholics Our Instagram feed goes to our main website at www.fujiholics.com

Fujiholics Photowalks are very relaxed and one big social event. I will open and lead the walk and talk to as many of you guys as I can. Please feel free to come and go as you wish from the walk all day. I started these walks to get people out in the fresh air and using their cameras. I have met people on the walks and become friends for life. You get out of the walk what you put in. The walks are for like-minded people with cameras to network and have fun in a group.

Look forward to meeting you all at the weekend, my advice is only bring what you need, you won’t want to be carrying great big bags of gear around with you all day.

Remember to dress for the weather and I always recommend a crook handle umbrella for rain showers not to protect you but to protect your lens so you can keep shooting. Also if it’s a hot day a bottle of water will stop you from dehydrating.

I couldn't be bothered to climb a mountain, so I stayed at the bottom and did a 125 sec long exposure. #FujiFilm #FormattHitech #FujiHolics
