Inquiring minds, want to know! :-)

What address do I use to get to the OS Lunaria Grid? I cannot find this posted anywhere! Is there an official web page for Lunaria OS? Can one make an Avatar specific to OS Lunaria grid? Is it even open yet for the public?

Thank you! - Oshi Shikigami

Last Friday, 4/13/18, was the first concert at the new Waterfront Lounge on Lunaria Emporium on Opensim Life grid. We also celebrated Jamie Jordan's birthday, as well as a thank you party for Bill Blight, the grid owner. Bill was able to save the grid from death by hacker, a fate that has befallen several opensim grids since January. It was a great party :-)

Hello everyone.

This is the basic requirements for installing OpenSim in own PC
I've read form wiki.

System Requirements
The minimum requirements to run the OpenSim GUI:
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP3/Vista SP1/Windows 7 Professional
Processor: 800MHz Intel Pentium III or equivalent
Memory: 512 MB
Hard disk space: 500 MB

My questions:
Can I use Windows 10?
I have no knowledge on SQL. Is it a must to know?
Does the PC needs to be online 24 hours to run my own sim?
Any video guide link for me to watch and follow the installation process?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Grid will be coming back online today,

I could not recover some of the inventory corrumption without rolling everyons inventory back almost 2 months.

This does not mean there is 2 months of corruption for everyone, for some people , none, for some people the last couple of weeks.

For some people corruption a month ago but none in the last 2 weeks, so you can see it is a very difficult problem to correct without making some people unhappy.

We will move forward.

Thank You for understanding.

We are going to suggest that the newest version of Firestorm Viewer should not be used.
Besides the known mesh issue, we have noticed some strange things in the way it communicates with the grid.
For your sanity and ours it may be best to avoid it for now.

The grid is still offline, hopping to wrap this up in the next 24 hours ..

Stay Tuned ...

-Tuesday Feb 13 -

Taking the grid back offline, the database is being , well for lack of a better term, "fuinky". So in an effort to not corrupt the data, taking it back offline.

Will post updates as they are available ..

-Sunday Feb 11 -

This Monday and Tuesday , February 12th and 13th the grid will be offline for backups, restores, and diagnosing an ongoing problem.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause we hope to have things back up and running as they were by Wednesday.
