+Make: We have checked the map and we are on there (YAY!) but how do you know if you are an affiliate site?  Is there any notification to tell the public that might be searching?

Had the 3D printer out at the local Farmer's Market today promoting my upcoming Maker Camp. Since it was also the day of the elementary school's 5K fundraiser, "Paws to the Pavement", I made a bunch of cute paw print tags for the kids. Lots of fun!

Banggood.com has kits from $125-$300 that go up to 2.5W. Took me 2.5 hours to assemble. Easy. Still working on getting the software right.

Had fun with 3D pens yesterday! I didn't plan for the students to combine the 3d printed monograms with the pins and LEDs I had for another project, but now that project is a keeper!

President Obama proclaims: From here forward, June 17-23 will be the National Week Of Making!
We recommit to sparking the creative confidence of all Americans and to giving them the skills, mentors, and resources they need...

+Make: Now that the Maker Camp 2016 information has started to go up on the website, does anyone know when affiliate sites will be announced?  And when will the projects go up on the website?  As a library, we need to get that planned and announced to the public if we want attendance.

I checked out the Maker Shed to see if the camp kits were available for purchase yet but no luck. Does anyone know when they were available for purchase last year?

Hello. I am running a "Maker Camp" for a summer school class. Should I apply for the #MakerCamp 2016? If I do, what are my obligations? Can I pick and choose which projects to do?

+Crystal Galica Great question! Registering as an affiliate is the best way to receive information: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1_mSKIrurxdYMwsonAnlWoNLlSz_qqyG5brVPz6uUJAU/viewform. Once registered, you’ll be the first to hear about any news, updates and events regarding Maker Camp! All 2016 projects will be revealed on our launch date (July 2016). In the meantime, there are plenty of past projects to choose from, just check out our project archives! http://makercamp.com/#discover

I'm at a public library in Rochester, NY and I'm trying to figure out when I'll get announced if I received approval as a Maker Camp. I'm pretty sure I applied back in April, but I haven't heard anything and I don't see my library listed in the map. Help!
