Would you eat this? The pattern on this Romanesco broccoli (a variant of the cauliflower) shows self-repeating patterns that can be mathematically modeled as a Fibonacci or golden spiral: a logarithmic spiral where every quarter turn is farther from the origin by a factor of phi, the golden ratio.
