Look out for a new sculpture on the regional Scottish Thistle Award winning BLiSS art trail. Visit Ewen, Westies of Craggan by Kev Paxton in Lochearnhead. You will find him on +Sustrans Scotland NCR7 off the A84 near St Angus Church sign. Ewen is a scruffy (galvanised steel) Westie in show pose with Ewen on his dog tag. He is named after local tourism hero Ewen Cameron OBE (1926-1995), former owner of the original Lochearnhead hotel, Scottish heavyweight champion, founder of the Lochearnhead Ski club, former board member of the Scottish Tourist Board and Sports Council and Chair of the British Water ski Federation. Ewen also had a part in the film Geordie 1955 and was on "Whats My Line".
