Yesterday afternoon's low “King Tide” was pretty impressive, too, especially in contrast with the dramatic high tide that morning. There will be minus tides today in Monterey (-1.57 at 5:28 p.m.) and Saturday (-1.28 at 6:16 p.m.) - perfect for late afternoon tidepooling. Will you make it down to the shore?

What does a “King Tide” look like at the Aquarium? Check it out! King Tides are the most extreme tides of the year, and they’re happening today, with a 6.9-foot high tide at 9:20 a.m. and a -1.7-foot low tide about 4:40 p.m.
