I just launched Attachments for GQueues with Google Drive Integration.  I must say overall the Drive API was very pleasant to work with.  I used the Python, Javascript and Objective-C client libraries and the Google Drive Android API, and they all worked together pretty well.  My only request would be the Android API support the full drive scope instead of just drive.file and drive.appfolder.  I had to create some proxy web services to show preview images on Android for files added through the Picker on the web.  (I also could have used the Java client library, but that seemed overkill for such a small use-case).

Vodo Bridges Google Drive and Google Glass

We're using the Google Drive API to help people work better. How? Dictate notes and share pictures and video from Google Glass to a folder on Google Drive. Watch a folder for updates, and have those updates visible on Glass.

Drive Your Vision With Vodo

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Vodo is now available through MyGlass. This is just the beginning! We have some more great stuff in the pipeline.

Our goal is to help make Glass part of your daily workflow - at home and at work. Integration with Google Drive is just the first step.

Our thanks to everyone who helped us test things out and to the fantastic team at Google. We're always looking for more feedback, so feel free to ask us questions on Google+.
New York, 3 Mar 2014 - Vodo (pronounced “voodoo”, a clever play on “to-do”) is the first Google Glass application addressing one of the biggest problems of wearable technology devices interacting with legacy systems: the seamless translation of desktop and mobile user interfaces to the smaller ...

Hi everyone,
We're currently running an invite only beta for Quoda, the new code editor for Android, and we were hoping for some feedback on what you all thought of it. We felt that it may be of particular interest to  you as it features integration with the Google Drive API v2 (as well as Dropbox). It also does have a whole range of other features - FTP/FTPS/FTPES integration (SFTP and Git are currently being added); autosuggestion for HTML (more languages will be supported soon); snippets with placeholders; live HTML preview; and syntax highlighting for 20 languages (more are being added), as well as a whole list of other features.

If you'd be interested in giving the Quoda a try, download the app from Google Play: http://bit.ly/197Qf52.

We've attached screenshots so you can see Quoda in action before you try it - please do check them out. Thanks everyone, and we look forward to hearing some feedback!

If you are tired of using pen and paper for RPGs, Beyond Tabletop uses google drive to replace the battle mat and character sheets.

If you're just interested in some novel real time drive implementations, our battle maps are pretty cool.

I've recorded a new video explaining how you can create mailing campaigns with the new version of Ultradox.
All assets are stored on Google Drive so you can share your mail templates, scripts etc. and collaborate in realtime.
You can trigger such a mail campaign from your own app by just calling  its URL and passing your own data as JSON or URL parameters.
Feedback welcome!

If you want to trigger document generation from Google Docs templates, send mailing campaigns or print right from the cloud:  Check out our new Ultradox version.
I'm planning to record a set of screencasts so that mankind can finally figure out how brilliant this app is ;-)
The new version is built on top of Google Drive and realtime SDK, so you can collaborate and chat just like in Google Docs.
Feedback welcome!

Hi everyone! My name is Anatoly. I'd like to present my service for users Google Apps for Business.
Service allows you to backup documents on Google Drive.
Backup is fulfilled by transfer of objects, such as files and folders, ownership to a specific user on the basis of their inclusion in a specific folder, similarly to the way it is done in a file system.
If you have any interest to this service, let me know and I will try to answer your questions.
Sorry for my english, it isn't my first language as you could guess :)
If you think english localization of service looks too dirty, here's localization file: http://goo.gl/FzQPhh , feel free to edit it

Just launched ZIP Extractor, a Drive App that extracts ZIP files to Google Drive. Installing this app will also make it appear in the "Open With" menu for Gmail attachments, so you can extract the contents of a ZIP in Gmail into Drive.

The app is open source (see https://github.com/googledrive/zipextractor) and available now.

I'm working on a command line client for Google Drive with git-like interfaces, written in Go. Pull, push and publish files. It works on Mac OSX and Linux for now, and soon to support Windows. If you need a backup solution or require CLI to talk to Google Drive, give it a try.

There is a sneak peak why I'm not implementing a sync daemon instead of this client on https://github.com/rakyll/drive#why-another-google-drive-client

If you'd like to contribute, please do so.

With 10s of thousands of photos in Drive, uploaded from many different sources over many years, modified dates get mixed up which means that sorting is ineffective. "Most recently uploaded to Drive" is not entirely useful. Certainly "Date actually taken" is more useful.

I hacked a little script that takes the date from EXIF data in an image and uses that as a modified date. It uses the technique of passing setModifiedDate=true to drive.files.patch which allows manually setting the modifiedDate. This is useful in other situations too, where apps modify files from outside Drive.

And now my photos get sorted by the date they were actually taken.

https://github.com/googledrive/photo-date-fixer, please feel free to use it as a proof of concept.
