Ham radio enthusiasts watch out! Windows driver killing counterfeit chips! Quite an interesting hack to read about too. These guys make the chips that program radios via USB.

This is a fascinating way to waste a lot of time.

Some photos from the installation of the new screen at CRARC HQ last Wednesday during tech night. This will improve the way that we are able to present material at meetings and foundation courses.

Just an early reminder that our end-of-year get together is on again, on Wednesday 27 November, from 6.30pm at the Mt Mugga Scout Hall, Astrolabe Street, Red Hill.

As this will be our last Members Meeting for 2013, please come along and join your amateur radio colleagues in light refreshments and a BBQ, as well as an opportunity to participate in the "wonders" of a Trash and Treasure market.

Don't miss out, come along for an enjoyable evening - non-members, including wives, husbands, partners, etc. are most welcome to attend.

On offer -

·         a Sausage Sizzle, refreshments, and party food

·         a Trash & Treasure market - your chance to pick up a bargain or dispose of any “excess to requirements” equipment

I look forward to seeing you there.

Cheers,

Murray de Plater

CRARC Secretary
