Starting tonight the annual Volunteer Fireman's Department's carnival starts. Reminiscent of the Hawkins Harvest Fest or Eleva Broiler Fest back home (or small town events all across our great country), live entertainment, rides, and of course GREAT FOOD will be a must for your summer calender if you're in the Susquehanna Valley. Come on down. The nice is right.

Stumbled upon this little guy on one of my walks. Got 2 feet away before he hopped towards me. Probably not the best idea to try and pet him. But it's always a wonderful day when we can get this close to those creatures that share our God given home.

High atop the gradual, western hill of Liverpool, Pennsylvania is the money shot. This is one case where a picture isn't worth a thousand words. You have to see this view in petson. Although the Susquehanna is a river, from this vantage point it looks like an inlet bay from the ocean sprinkled with these massive islands. One can only close their eyes after a glimpse and imagine ocean going vestles darting about these islands in an exotic display of commerce. Those with decks and sun porches up here on this hill have a lot of reasons to be open minded. And just for this sight i am eternally grateful. This was a blessed day for my eyes were treated with much more then just the tase of the sky.

Love,
Your Ricky

Tranquil skies with an occasional sprinkle dominate the ceiling in this house our Heavenly Father made for us. And the happy waters of the lovely Susquehanna river are placid. No drama, no anxiety for the moment. Just soaking in the feeling of being one in the creation. Doesn't matter if I'm rich or poor, sick or healthy, famous, important, popular, or anything. If you were an electric currant, you could be conducted to the far reaches of our majestic ball in the sky. Or i could go to wherever I've lived before. Such a blessing to have my Father speak to me here.

This type of rose is gorgeous in person. The climate here in the Susquehanna Valley, and the skills of the people here really produce a treat with hundreds of species of wild and domesticated flowers everywhere. The sultry aroma of the Susquehanna spring evokes romance and brings a smile to my face. So many pictures of the landscape and flora that i take here can't quite capture the true praise of our Heavenly Father's work. #susqvoice

Baseball was my first love. And been around a ton of baseball/softball parks in my lifetime. And Liverpool, Pennsylvania has one of the most beautiful little league parks I've ever seen.

In some of the Susquehanna back country, the roads are lined with blossoms of all kinds. The wild rose, dogwoods, locast trees, lilacs, philox, and these beautiful little flowers. So a drive around the countryside with the windows down fills your nose with an incredible fragrance. However, there are the occasional pickets of the lessor affectionate byproducts of cattle and horses. But it happens. Beautiful. Don't you think?
