Walled Lake Schools hosts an outstanding instructional technology conference at the start of each school year. It will be on Thursday, August 24 at Walled Lake Central High School. I'm excited to announce that Liz Kolb will be our keynote speaker! If you are interested in joining our awesome team of presenters, the Call for Speakers info is on the "Speakers" page of the conference web site. We would love for you to join us. Applications are due by May 31.

Any Promethean ActivInspire users that have transitioned to ClassFlow? I need a few thoughts to start prepping my teachers that are using it.

From what I can tell, it looks like they lose a lot of flexibility with resources, and have a much more simplistic "annotate" over desktop mode. Also curious if anyone is using Activotes still, and how successful they're been with ClassFlow.

Any and all comments, experiences, thoughts are appreciated :)

Any PLTW Gateway people in here that can help address a question? Looking at bringing the App Creators course to our Middle School next year, but it's strictly Android Tablets and MIT's App Inventor. We're cool doing that, but we'd also like to eventually have kids coding for iPads as well with Swift.

Does anyone have any knowledge of face to face courses, classes, networks of support, etc. that could potentially help bring Apple and Swift based coding on board to compliment creating apps for Android tablets as well?
