Help, tips and tricks  -

Hello,

When I turn on vibration (without sound) by long-pressing the upper right button and choosing vibration, I have the following problem:

For incoming phone calls there is no vibration. Because there is also no sound in this mode, I can only see that a call is incoming. I think, this is a bug.

If I turn on sound (long-pressing upper right button and choose sound) and there is a incoming call, I hear the sound of the call AND there is a vibration. This is okay.

My question:

How can I get just a vibration for incoming calls (no sound), when vibration mode is switched on?

The sound profile "Ring and vibrate" is switched on. In the profile there is a check mark set for "Vibration alarm for incoming calls".

Regards,

Christian

I wouldn't say pebble was that smart. The trouble with "smart" watches is that most don't actually do anything.

Ooh, I can see notifications and (if you're lucky) reply to them. It's so much more convenient that having to pull your phone out.
The failure is, that it isn't, unless you're wearing a T-shirt. Otherwise it's pull your sleeve up, look at your watch. Squint to read the notification. You may as well have just took your phone out.

So even at $60 I don't think it's worth it.

The difference was, or should have been Omate. Shame.

So this finally happened.
Think I need to sell my beloved #OnePlusOne. Don't want to have anything in common with LeClown.
Seems like even oneplus is proud to have support from a scammer.

Any guesses about how secure this firmware will be? All the other features seem to match, except no claims for waterproof...

You're paying them $150 for a product you have to program to get it to do what they advertise.

As always, I'm pretty close to +Marques Brownlee position but...

I'm a little torn between #1 and #2.
Over all, I like +LG Mobile Global Watch R, as it looks more like a conventional time piece rather than a small computer OR a thermostat with straps. Also, hardware is 10 times better than what the 360 has.
One thing I really hate, and makes me like +Motorola Mobility 360 is... You guessed it! Wireless charging capabilities!.
In today's time, I think every device should be charged wirelessly... I mean.. Cables are too 2013 =P

What are your thoughts?

+Sam Lin I get that they want it to replace your phone but the this is just typical marketing bullshit in an attempt to have product differentiation But the truth is this "watch" simply cannot do this. I have the Omate Truesmart which is basically the identical watch. While I really like it, the company has failed in the way of support of hardware and software. I cannot get a spare battery, or even a spare charging cradle, which is required for use. The SW is still "stuck" on 4.2 for over a year now, and Omate has appeared to abandon the Truesmart. It is really a shame since the watch has so much potential I really don't know what goes through their heads when planning for the future. Now since this is nearly a clone of the Omate TS, count on their being no upgrades and support to be minimal. Or...maybe this company bought the IP rights to the design and plans to fully support this device. But if the same obsolete included 4.2 is any indicator, I would consider other more mainstream options first.
