Food Fun Friday: Sumptuous southern favorites are on the menu at French Market in Disneyland® Park's New Orleans Square. This charming location offers hearty Cajun and Creole dishes--Jambalaya; Red Beans and Rice with Andouille Sausage; Creole Shrimp; Louisiana Stew, Po' Boys, and Cajun Meatloaf. For a sweet treat pick up some hot, fresh, Mickey-shaped beignets from the Mint Julep bar. Relax as you dine on the garden patio and take in the sounds of the talented jazz trio--The Royal Street Bachelors. With these delightful tastes and sounds you'll think you've been transported to New Orleans!

This might be too easy, so I added a B/W filter. Where can this be found at Disneyland?

Hold on to your hats folks, this here's the wildest ride in Rainbow Ridge! Your runaway mine car will take you on a Gold Rush adventure you'll not soon forget! You'll 'thunder' through a mine shaft and under waterfalls; dip into canyons, swoop around tight curves and into dark caves (watch out for falling rocks!) and race past the rugged bedrock and local critters (dynamite chewing goat included). Inspired by Utah's Bryce Canyon and Arizona's Sedona, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Disneyland® Park's Frontierland offer lots of Old West fun and happy memories for your family!

Resplendent with 19th century-styled chandeliers, polished brass and wall-mounted longhorns, the Golden Horseshoe Saloon in Disneyland® Park's Frontierland is full of old-time Western flair. Take a seat on the main floor or up in the balcony and enjoy some improv fun during the Laughing Stock, Co. show on the Golden Horseshoe Stage. This live musical-comedy is sure to tickle your funny bone--and you just might end up part of the show! Make your visit a real treat and head over to the bar for an ice cream sundae or good old western chili to enjoy while you watch the show! Trivia: Walt and Lillian Disney celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary at the Golden Horseshoe Saloon; and Walt kept a private box upstairs to the right of the stage so he could pop in at any time and enjoy the show!

Zoom on in to Cars Land in Disney's California Adventure® Park and take flight on a giggle-inducing ride aboard Luigi's Flying Tires! You'll slide and glide on a cushion of air (think flying saucer!) around Luigi's garden and tire yard. Lean in the directions you want to go and off you'll soar. Prior to boarding your flying tire be sure to take in the showroom in Luigi's Casa Della Tires! Have you flown with Luigi?

Food Fun Friday: Dine in a lovely alpine village setting at Village Haus in Disneyland® Park's Fantasyland (near Pinocchio's Daring Journey). Whether dining outdoors on the cobblestone patio, or indoors in the delightful themed rooms, you're sure to find hearty fare at this quick service restaurant. Angus burgers, veggie burgers, flat bread pizzas, salads, and apple strudel are among the delicious offerings. Pinocchio fans will enjoy the charming decor and details throughout each room, and can follow the story of the puppet without strings on the beautiful murals!

Step right up for some energetic and interactive fun on Toy Story Midway Mania in Disney's California Adventure® Park! Don your 3-D glasses, board your swiveling ride vehicle, and join Toy Story friends Woody, Buzz, Hamm, Rex, and the Little Green Men for a rootin'-tootin' time on this toy box tour. Test your midway skills and take aim with your spring-action shooter--rack up points as you move from one game booth to the next. Every time you score points, your toy friends cheer you on! Keep an eye out for special targets that will give you extra points! Tip: This is a very popular attraction; to avoid long lines, be sure to make a bee line for this attraction when the park opens!

Happy 80th Anniversary to Donald Fauntleroy Duck! On this day in 1934 Donald made his debut in the Silly Symphony cartoon, 'The Wise Little Hen'. Whether in cartoons or in the parade, he's a Disney classic and favorite! Here's wishing him many more happy years!

When visiting Disney Destinations, it's always fun to bring back something special from your trip. Along with the happy memories and photos, souvenirs are delightful reminders of every magical vacation. I enjoy collecting Disney cups, as you can see here. What's your favorite souvenir to bring home?

An exotic adventure awaits you at Disneyland® Park's Jungle Cruise. Your excursion, guided by your witty riverboat skipper, takes you down the rivers of Asia, Africa, and South America. You'll encounter elephants, gorillas, hippos, hyenas, giraffe, lions, baboons, and even piranha! A few jungle surprises greet you along the way too (watch out for headhunters!) as you float along--no worries though, your trusty guide will bring you back to civilization!

Today's Trivia: Walt Disney of course loved Disneyland® Park, but Fantasyland was closest to his heart. In 1965 the Disney Family Coat of Arms was added to Sleeping Beauty Castle, right above the drawbridge entrance. Next time you're heading in to Fantasyland, look above the archway, and remember the man who built our beloved park!

Buckle up, rev your engine, and off you go in your own gas-powered speedster!. Follow the twisting roadway around the lagoon and under the Monorail track, do a little off-roading, then coast back to the pit on Disneyland® Park's Autopia. Now a single attraction (yep, there used to be two Autopia tracks-one in Fantasyland and one in Tomorrowland), it's the only attraction from the original Tomorrowland! Kids love being able to drive their own cars--and racing mom and dad. :)  Each car has its own personality--Suzy the cute coupe, Dusty the off-road vehicle, and Sparky the stylish sports car. Which car is your favorite?
