If you happen to find yourself in Richmond, BC and wonder what's there to see, then I recommend exploring the lovely neighbourhood of Seafair and the nearby West Dyke Trail and Garry Point. Check out my photo essay:

The pic is taken in Nanaimo BC from the down town area, facing east looking over at Newcastle Island. The range of mountains you see are of the north shore to Vancouver. Many of the large freighters will anchor here when space gets tight at False Creek Vancouver.

Totem Poles in Stanley Park, Vancouver, Canada

I love Vancouver and I visited the city about 4 years ago. Stanley Park is just wonderful. You can have a nice walk and see many interesting attractions. One of them are Totem Poles, the first national art.

My friends urged me to stay here for the ultimate, west coast resort experience - and I did. Take my word for it: there are so many reasons The Wickaninnish Inn consistently ranks as one of the top resorts, and why you should make it your next destination.
