Today AM: magazine (the leading Dutch FS magazine) published an article on developments in the pension (insurance) market for which I have been interviewed.
Sadly the interview is in Dutch 😏 but it strengthens our position as thoughtleader in the insurance sector

Last Monday I attended the Insurtech Insights meeting of Holland Fintech and (as only consultancy firm) gave a presentation on our view on the impact of insurtech. Attending insurance companies where nationale nederlanden, Aegon en Allianz. General opinion is that insurtech is just starting and that, as opposed to fintech, there are no real disruptors yet. Biggest value is expected from collaboration between incumbents and insurtechs.

In the Netherlands we have had a good start of 2017 with signing a new logo. We'll going to support VvAA with their GDPR program. Our role will be subject matter expert and Q&A. We'll start with a Privacy Deep Scan to determine the gaps and their ambition.
VvAA is a complex organisation 100% focussed on servicing medical professionals and organisations. It consists of several insurance companies, consultancy for medical professionals (financial planning, mediaition, ..) , insurance broker, travel agency, publisher of magazines, and more.
+Pieter Roggeveen will be responsible for the assignment

- New project at AXA Tech in Asia! -
We are really happy to share with you that AXA Technology Services, AXA IT infrastructure branch serving Asian entities incl. Japan, will rely on Sia Partners to achieve several projects for their Regional CFO (vendor contract management, project database design, India BO organisation review, local countries due diligence). This opportunity has been won on the back of DILO project delivered for AXA Asia earlier this year. This is definitely a new step in the consolidation of our relationship with AXA in Asia. A warm thank you to the AXA Tech team in Europe who helped by sharing their knowledge!

Hello Everyone.

The Insurance business practice has developed a new offer on Operational Risk Management aiming at small Insurance companies but also at other industries willing to better monitor their operational risks.

It comes along with a ready-to-use tool designed by Sia's actuaries allowing Insurers to design & calculate operational risks scenarios.

Thanks to this tool, clients can easily embed operational risks in their internal control frameworks.

The document attached is in French but should you need any access to the tool, a demo or translations, we would be glad to help !!

Cheers,
The OpRisk Tool Team based in Paris
