#Prince... What's known so far...
Police responded to a call at Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota around 9:43 a.m. Thursday and found Prince unresponsive inside an elevator, according to the Carver County Sherrif's Office. First responders attempted CPR but were unable to revive him. Prince was pronounced dead at 10:07 a.m.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Prince was not feeling well after he canceled two concert dates at the Fox Theater in Atlanta. Prince would perform days later in Atlanta in a scaled-down version of his normal two- to three-hour-long performances. The singer sat at his piano, engulfed in lavender smoke and took audience members through many of his classic hits.

On April 15, after leaving the Atlanta show, Prince forced his private jet to make an emergency landing and was rushed to a hospital in Illinois. It was reported that the singer was suffering from the flu. He was released from the hospital and flew back to his Minnesota home. The next day, Prince made an impromptu appearance at a $10 dance party at Paisley Park where he told guests, "Wait a few days before you waste any prayers."

Police are still investigating the circumstances of Prince's death and no official cause of death has been released. Foul play is not suspected.
