We are offering an early bird special price of £50 for The EduTech Summit - an educational technology day conference in the north of England. Improving performance in schools with a high percentage of pupil premium students. 28th or 30th March 2017 at 13:30
Listen to +Harvey McCarthey talk about how the use of G Suite for Education and Acer Chromebooks have had a substantial impact on literacy and numeracy levels.

This is a free webinar.

Harvey has an amazing story to tell. This webinar will be of particular interest to those schools with a high pupil premium ratio.

Can anyone advise how I can make the same Google Sheet for a list of students - I only want them to be able to access their own sheet to log volunteering/work experience etc.

Many thanks!

Here's another FREE Google EDU training from the AppsEvents team and Google!

The Newcastle Google Cloud Camp will inspire and enthuse attendees to start using Google Apps for Education and Chromebooks in their schools! Every session will be hands-on, taught like a real-life lesson and have time for reflection and Q&A.

Following a conversation with Devin Regis @ Google for education and +Simon Brown from +realsmart I thought it would be a good idea for those of us in the NE to set up a GEG UK Hub to look at how we are using GAFE in our schools and specifically to support T&L.

I have set up a form. No date as of yet but if you could indicate your interest and we can go from there.

Great to catch up with +L Thompson today to chat digital leaders and Realsmart. Network meeting in the new academic year is on!

Hi All

Anyone want to come to Leeds in a couple of weeks to the first GEG Yorkshire Meetup?
Get together for anyone involved or interested in Google Apps for Education within striking distance of Leeds. You do not have to be a teacher or work in education. You just have to be want to do cool stuff in education.

No prior knowledge of anything required :-)

We will be meeting somewhere with a decent bar and space to have chat. Please RSVP.

This is not a formal training event, there will be no long speeches, just a chance to meet up with like-minded people. Oh, and a chance to meet your GEG Leaders, in your area.

All welcome! Please feel free to invite anyone amongst your colleagues and friends who you think would be interested.

See you there, Dan and Francisco
