Always an interesting one this, especially for those with an upgraded STe or a Falcon. Dig Dug and Zelda ran well, as did Donkey Kong and Mario. Castlevania was a bit of a bust because of the colour palette mainly...

It'll run on the stock 8MHz STe but a min of a 16MHz STe / Falcon is better. I'm interested to hear from anyone with a faster machine, esp a video to prove it. Be nice! :)

I've been playing a few Atari ST games lately (shocker) and it occurred to me that there are some incredible loading screens and generally great examples of pixel art. I figured I'd kick off a new section to AtariCrypt for them. First up is Deathbringer ... that loading screen kills me. It's so superb!!

It's initialled CS so it's obvious who created but Kevin Ayre is also credited on AtariMania so I wonder what involvement he had...perhaps in-game graphics?

Anyhow, I love ST pixels so here's Deathbringer :^)
