So I'm working on two teaching activities for teaching CSS3 animations. Here's a make (in progress) for one of them, what do you guys think?

I made a little remix of the Webmaker slideshow template (, I'm posting it here in case someone finds it useful. Basically it lets you check which slide is open, so that you can perform a specific action on a particular slide (re-run an animation, show an alert box, etc).

The post with a link to the remixed template is here:

The way I used this myself was on my latest tutorial:

Each time you open a slide #2, you will see the animation fade in (it starts hidden and then it hides again if you navigate to a different slide).

Hi everyone!

So I started working on my Introduction to CSS3 Animation, but I didn't really like the end result as much so I decided to start from scratch.

Actually, first I want to create a brief introduction, which I want to turn into a teaching activity and I also want to create a new remixable make (this will be a surprise!).

I am not finished yet -- and there is one or two small CSS issues I need to fix -- but I would love to get some early feedback:

A little question for the CSS wizards out there: on slide #13, is there a way to make the animation smooth on mouse hover out? (Without JavaScript!)

Thanks all in advance!
