Currently, the rules of this game are having an overhaul, as I felt that the current rules were restrictive and made the game feel slow in the games I've managed to play so far. I'm hoping these new sets of rules, including a lot better movement range, will open the game up to feeling more refreshing, a bit more tactical, but also more fast paced. I found that one lap was the best amount for prior rules, and with the new plans, multiple laps will be more doable. Keep tuned for updates.

Hello those of you genuine members. Here's the first race for Zenith. Have a look and see how it goes. I will be following this up in the future with a breakdown on how it actually works etc.

I won't reveal too much at the moment, but thank you for your patience, and know that updates are coming soon. As you can see from the picture, things have been progressing. Currently working on finishing touches for the rulebook as well, and then hopefully can get a few test games going.

The up to date pics of the racing teams. Obviously, I had posted some previously, so here I've only displayed the cars you've yet to see. I've also gotten round to putting their numbers on as well, which will make things a lot easier.

During a little pre-test with my family, we found we had to keep questioning what car was what, as obviously the numbers weren't there as an identifier of which car was for which driver.

Tell  me your thoughts.

Getting ready to bring some new cars and updates of the track to life. Was going to also have a test game sorted for today, but unfortunately didn't get round to printing out rules or stat sheets, and library wasn't open today.

Sorry for the long wait. But here's the first of many updates to come. As you can see, almost a completed track now presents  itself to you. You'll also note the slots now in play. A corner segment holds 5 slots on the inner corner, and 13 on the most outer corner (though you really don't want to find yourself there). That makes a total of 10 for a full inner corner and 26 for a full outer corner. Remember, you want to stay within the barriers though, as there is less risk of crashing.

The barriers paint jobs are still to come, but you'll see soon enough. Feel free to visit the blog.

This is the shortest track that will be used for the Zenith race game. As you can see, it's made up of 6 different segments. 4 corners and 1 straight and 1 straight with pit stop. There will be larger versions, however, for the time being, this will be the track that most will race on due to the fact that we all start off not being able to truly move too much.

A large track therefore would just simply be a waste of time, and elongate the process of finishing the race. Especially in the case where it will be 2 moves per week to help with the fact that many have jobs and busy schedules even if they do not have jobs.

Well, hopefully the next image of the tracks will be a fully painted one.

Here are the first five teams I've painted up. I really like how they've turned out. You'll see some white rectangles on some of the bases. These will be on all the car bases to hold the car number.

So, what are your thoughts on these guys? I'm quite happy that I didn't go with the angular look of a car, in a way, as I feel this has helped the paint jobs look better. Could be wrong though, as I yet have anything to compare it with.

I think that the game will be quite cool to behold, with the miniatures vying for spaces, team mates trying push on ahead. Even within your own team you'll of course still be trying to push on further.

Sorry, I do have some painted cars I would have liked to show, but my camera has broke unfortunately. I will use my partner's camera though, so you should be seeing some images up once more tomorrow. Look forward to it, as I'm really pleased with how the cars so far have turned out.

As promised, here's an update accompanied by images. 28 cars have been put into production so far, most already completed, though some are still going to get a few minor upgrades.

You will also note the cardboard track, which is a test track that I've made in order to have a quick test run and also display it on the blog and community so everyone gets a feel for how it works.
