This community is starting to gather some momentum. They take so long to get off the ground. Most of the members of my facebook community (Kelpie Lovers UK) are not plusers....    Please spread the word around the googlesphere and beyond.  The more the merrier always.

My Kelpie+ Clan
Photo

Our sweet Kelpie, Ally-girl crossed the rainbow bridge this morning. We're brokenhearted. No hurry to replace her, she was a very special girl. This will take a few months or years...and then we'll have us another Kelpie. I'd like to remain in the community though. Seeing other kelpies is heartwarming.

Xmas eve with my Kelpie!!

So nice to see some new members.  Please share and + us..  I would love this to be the global community for Kelpies, not something that Facebook could handle..

The red and tan Kelpie int he community picture is my beloved Ruby who we lost this year. We took her on as a rescue and she was only with us for 7 months. In that time she captured our hearts and we are all still grieving for her loss.

Introducing the Kelpie that started it all. My precious Delia, 4 year old Black and Tan bitch, not a pedigree Kelpie as she has some Collie in her. I like to think of her as a pedigree "Delia" as she is the most perfect dog. She was my first dog, I had yearned for a dog for 43 years, spending much of my childhood walking other people dogs. One Sunday we heard of a Collie X that needed a new home. 2 hours later we met her and we got on very well. After a quick walk her first family decided we were right home for her. She came home with us straight away and my dream came true. We found that she was Kelpie a few days later and there started my fascination for this breed. Delia is my best friend and we hate to be parted from each other.
