This is the on-demand writing I had my kids do for the first writing samples. Feel free to use if you haven't already done yours and you're panicking :)
I also put it in our shared folder under On Demand Prompts.

Just wanted to share with my first AI group that while I wobbled more than I wanted to last year, the OSU handover to OU has been successful. We just finished two days in which we enjoyed great conversations about civil discourse and argument defined as a search for the truth.

Shelbie and Annie, I want to thank you for connecting us with Lynette Morse in Chickasha. She is an incredible human being and a great asset to the Writing Project. So glad she's going to be part of the OWP tribe.

Good luck to all of you an thank you for helping me find new poses for my teaching.

Shelly

Hey - you may all have created your own versions of this. I've adapted it slightly from something I found on the NWP site... or something I found from last summer. Sharing, just in case you want a handout version. My word version is a little neater than the google translation.

Hello all!

Here are the articles that I pulled for my mini-unit on censorship and propaganda. I hope these are helpful!

Tina,

Did you say you had found a mini-unit on propaganda, or did you make your own? In any case, would you be willing to share some of your resources?

Thanks,
