Calling all Mums and Dads out there! The free-to-download Enrich Others eco-app which enables you to gift away unwanted possessions to members of your community for free, now has over 400 users and almost 100 posted gifts.
But we are still a long way away from where we want to be, and need your help to enthusiastically encourage your friends, colleagues, and relatives to also post their unwanted items as gifts to others using the app.
Yes, of course...it is much easier to stand on the sidelines and do nothing to encourage recycling. Yes, definitely...it is much easier to post a like on FB but then never bother to get involved. Yes, for sure...it easier to just download the app but then never post some items of your own even though it will only take 1-2 minutes.
But everyone has clutter they no longer need: a book, a toy, a piece of furniture, an old appliance, some CDs or DVDs!
Instead of hoarding these, please give them away to someone else who will value them as you once did!
If you would like to learn more about the app (now available on the iPad) then visit http://www.enrichothers.com or https://www.facebook.com/enrichedother/
Here is another article about the app from Expat Parenting magazine:

The latest version of the FREE global recycling app, enrich others, is now available to download on the app stores! The app enables you to quickly and easily post free gifts with minimal effort: enter a gift name, select a category, select a sub-category, and then post your gift ANONYMOUSLY! That's it! The app encourages recycling, reduces waste, and helps those in your community who are in need, while all the time keeping your personal and contact details PRIVATE. Only when you've decided who you want to assign your gift to, can they then contact you using the in-app messaging/chat feature. The website has been updated with some FAQs: http://www.enrichothers.com/#faq.
If you like this post then post 2-3 items this weekend, and share this on your Facebook page. Please help me spread the word to the world. Please read the South China Morning Post article: http://sc.mp/KH15Bf. Please follow on twitter @enrich_others.
The green recycling app is 100% free, private, secure, and global.

Just got an article mention in the South China Morning Post, Hong Kong leading newspaper:

http://www.scmp.com/magazines/post-magazine/short-reads/article/2102491/new-app-hongkongers-give-away-unwanted

And more key features will be delivered hopefully in a week's time - you'll be able to login with Facebook and Google+, and you'll be able to post items with absolutely very minimal effort.

A new version of the app coming out in the next few days with the ability to edit your already posted gifts.

Got my first mention in a magazine today. Page below.
And today I interviewed with a journalist from the South China Morning Post, Hong Kong's main English-language newspaper.
The article will be out on June 12th.
Targeting to launch the app next week before the SCMP article hits the streets.
