These days, it seems like you’re constantly hearing all about the many ways stress reduces a person’s quality of life. Not only can it destroy your health by putting you at risk for developing killer conditions like cancer, heart disease, and stroke, but it can deteriorate the quality of your most important relationships as well. http://ow.ly/uLFYl

I would love to hear some recommendations for family therapy near Orland Park. My sister has been going through a  rough patch for the past few weeks and could really use some help. If anyone knows anything they could share about http://www.newsomepsych.net/services.html I would appreciate that as well. We received a referral to look into them.

Is conflict in marriage such a bad thing?
Anyone who has been in a relationship- good or bad will tell you that conflict is inevitable- unless they are lying and trying to impress you. In fact in my opinion there are three types of relationships. The relationship where the conflict is buried, the relationship where “it” is burying the couple, or third the relationship where conflict is dealt with appropriately.

Good morning fellow Marriage and Family Therapists. I'm looking forward to more learning and connections through this forum. I'm an LMFT and run a limited private practice. I've been in private practice to some degree since 2006 and love working with couples and families.
