During our morning routines, we set ourselves up to meet the day, unless on the rather rare occasion when we are running late. We gather as much information as we can before we leave, weather, traffic, and attempt to discover any impediments to our journey, like trees laying across our country road. I assume most of us have coffee and at least one bottle of water on us. Other people are ready for more unlikely events, like natural disasters, that is in many ways depending on how much of a commute a person has. In this blog, I dispute the notion that a mere 33% of us are prepared in any way for something to happen. It's my opinion we are much more ready than we think. Take a look at what I'm saying, you may agree or not, it's my opinion that we as a commuting group are in much better shape than we may lead to believe.
