I think it is just awesome that there is a group put together by people who share the same passion and fascination as Google Local Guides as I do. It has become sort of a hobby for me. Opened my eyes to beautiful things I did not notice before, relieves stress and helps me to stay focused

Members of our LG Academy G+ community can now login to our new (beta) website.

We are in the final stages of developing our website in preparation for the upcoming Academic year.

Soon we will offer members of our G+ community exclusive pre-launch-access to our website.

In the meantime, if you were already registered as a student, you might receive various automated emails from our website. This is because the Student Administration is preparing your profile and student account.

Students should look out for an email, from myself, with instructions how to access their online student account, within the next 48 hours.

All students, please note that there shall be no classes in the week 9-15 October, as most of our teachers are "out of the office" that week.

Congratulations to all that go on a little work vacation ;-) mid October.

The unofficial Local Guides Academy is proud to announce the launch of our Best Practice community program.

We share our unofficial Best Practice Guidelines with the #LocalGuides community to help improve the Connect community forum, by using controlled source documents that are easy to manage.

Not only do we intend to help novice Local Guides, we also aim to limit the outdated clutter on the various Connect forums, which might mislead unaware users.
